Cricket, symbol of good luck
Chirping at night like duck
Mantis, jaunting and pray
Lobbying and munching a honey prey
The Edam's sailing through the air,
and Cheddar skims my head,
I duck to miss the Danish Blue,
but Brie hits me instead.
leaves that hang and fool
teeth waiting to suck your blood
bats drop fast... duck now.

Bird by the lake,
looking over
at a duck
whose egg
has been
taken by
mr fox
who
comes
back for
desert.

Baby duck, his back to me
doesn't see me coming
Just in time he flaps his wings
~ leaves me embarrassed, running
A rather randy mallard duck
Was causing all the hens to cluck
Around about dawn
Along came a swan
With a bigger bang for the buck
The strangest sounds I never heard
Are from a lizard and a bird -
The quiet voice of the gecko,
A duck’s quack that doesn’t echo.
Desmond was a large drake
Who swam in a wonderful lake
In a very grand house
With a cat and a mouse
And a duck for friendship sake
I once knew a boy named George
Who once got lost in a gorge
He eat something yuck
It was a rotten duck
That silly young boy George
I was riding a round in my truck
When I ran over an Irish duck
While holding a clover
He knew it was over
He simply ran out of luck
a tribal totem
power animals honored
cherished spirit guides
bear and little moose
pintail duck deer cardinal
heartfelt ancestry
Ducks dive upside down
Searching olive green shallows
For grubs escaping

Pied duck
Late diving when
The sea did roar below
as snowy wings flashed bright and bold,
so white
It's out for a swim
the baby duck looks for food
makes a cute picture.

“Hey, when is my turn?”
asks the horse.
“Hold your horses,”
says the plastic surgeon,
“while I give the duck
a quick nip and tuck.”
beware atomic attack!
1950s civil defense
duck and cover drills
Bert the turtle
showed us the way
flash of light - duck and cover!
It’s true, we both swim through the muck,
But don’t compare me to a duck.
No, I wouldn’t do that until
You’ve reckoned my rubbery bill.
Aylesbury duck in port
Currant jelly sauce
Bucks bread with beef dripping spread
Then cherry bumpers;
Dandelion and
Burdock brew
Whew!
Thick sludge upon my
wings; sad eyes in need of help
Hopeless eyes searching
For Raul's contest

A Spaniel that uses its head
Can tell when its owner’s unfed
So instead of a duck
That is down on its luck
Will deliver a pizza instead
A duck that used to waddle
Could not swim, just paddle
This concerned it of course
Using an inflatable horse
He swam the lake on its saddle
There was once a golden duck
Who had a golden truck
He went on a plane
Got shot in his brain
And the man said that he will pluck the duck
