Fake
Everyone is a fake,
You are just your mother's stupid mistake.
No one loves you for who you are.
Just drown your sorrows in a bar....

The I.R.S can wait their turn this year
I'll just sit back and sip a cool beer
my money they won't get
I'll forget all about it
drown my sorrows with NO fear!...

Bucket
without you all these years
I filled a bucket full of tears
Then made ice cubes
To help drown my sorrows
And face more tomorrows
Then I ‘d begun
T’ lay in the sun
Tasted and wasted and basted
Well done
Or
Rare
I don’t really care
I’m thinking of
Rhyming
With bucket...

My head submerged in water,my body slips down the bath, why do i feel so sad all the time,i cry instead of laugh..i try to drown my sorrows, endless feeling low,no one ever listens, the drinks just flow and flow...i wonder who will find me? Ive no family or friends, submerged in freezing water,i just wish my life would end.....

Premium Member My Salvation
So cold the river that runs
through my veins
I float lightly on the current
I want to drown my sorrows
And go back to a better place
A place I ran free with no restraints
My salvation is all I seek!

I wrote this when Mel Gibson was having that little talk with Oksana Grigorieva.
I posted it because Andrea wanted to see it....

Lessons
I tried to drown my sorrows, but they learned to swim. Which taught me you can't run, you can't hide from our less than perfect side. Even though the dog paddle is all you know. Try hard to swallow your pride. Because sorrow is along for the ride. Sorrow teaches us to realize and appreciate the times that don't bring tears to our eyes~~Blessings Catfish 3/17/2014...

Ophelia Walks
while you wondered, to be or not to be
I already knew my truth
to walk this world alone, my love
confused and mad with grief
water it calls to me, I ask
how deep do I drown my sorrows
for a man who never loved me
never wiped my tears, never held my hand
I knew my fate before anyone
to drift on endless tides tangled in the reeds
call me Ophelia once more, my love
I will hear you as I die...

A Cure
Catch the shadows
Save my dreams
Fade the darkness
that gives me nightmares

Drown my sorrows
Numb the pain
Take my misery
That keeps me occupied

Mend my cuts
Heal my wounds
Erase my scars
That inflict me deeply

Forget my past
All the memories
Relieve my burdens
That hurt me endlessly

Save my heart
Cleanse my soul
Repair the pieces
That break me in two

Find my thoughts
Inside my mind
Tell my secrets
That hold me down...

A down-on-his-luck man frequently visits a tavern to drown his sorrows in alcohol. The bartender has grown accustomed to his face. He always drinks more than he should, and it shows. One fine day, he gets finally banned. He comes back the next day; the bartender orders him to leave and never come back.

Enough is Enough
The bartender has had it
Alcoholic man

My Life
My life is like the sea waves,
That rise and fall continuously,
My life is like the sea waves,
That come to play with me,
My life is like the sea waves,
In whom I drown my sorrows,
My life is like the sea waves,
That live each day for a better tomorrow,
My life is like the sea waves,
That come again and again to see me,
Just to tell me that,
There are many things to come,
And that I should not feel down,
For this is all just a drop in the sea!...
