one after the other

Solitude

The tall eucalypts
drip
their harvest
of morning mist.
I come here
to the forest
to be alone -
share my solitude.

Dipped in a painted bliss

I fail to wake up
The snokeflake melts

Feelings drip in and out again,
Though my composure I maintain,

Spring, with ghosts 21-03-25

Drip. Drop.
Spring again.
Last year they left.
This year we met.
Sweet blossoms and smoke mix in the air.
I ask myself why I chase ashes.

Deception

Truth eludes a man.
Searching eyes.
He finds deceit.
Sunglasses cover.

Rouge camouflages.
Daylight illuminates.
Poison asps.
Drip blood.

Red Hearts

Gray clouds drip and drop;

Dry earth with globules of blood.

Red hearts sing their song

To tears, wailing long;

To bells, ding and dong..

It seems our phone was on the blink
With a plumber under the sink
It seems the drip
Splashed on her slip
So she wondered what I might think . . . .

The moon's a globule
Assymetrically-specked
Freckled with moonrocks

A Kiss Like Fruit

Soft so sweet,
on my lips,
your sweet taste

As juice runs,
I do catch,
Drip drop drip.

Passionate,
to my soul,
pineapple.
