leaves drift to the ground,
red and gold litter the street,
as ghouls come out to play,
one night a year;
All Hallows Eve!
languid afternoon
cottonball clouds drift across
an expansive sky
creating elaborate patterns
for painters to interpret
The day yawns
stretches...
like a flower
petals upturned
ghostlike vapors
drift away
Bullfrogs croak
My dog slumbers
i pared the spirit from her
buried it in a drift of snow
curious, i returned in spring
to see a patch of flowers glowing
They all drift away,
Times once mine gradually,
Further fade away,
As the day begins to end,
Even the sun slowly drifts.
as i drift to sleep
nightmares entagle me
making joy fleed in its presence
steal my nightmares away?
share your dreams?
Form:
Teasing me with freedom
Understanding finally dawns
Voyeuristically I hide
Watching myself drift
As I move away from reality
the birds love the sky
and the clouds drift by within
earthly valentine
p.s. love, Bob
i will dreed the day,
when i will have to leave you,
we will drift apart,
and forever to be lost
without a single return.
Moon is drawing circles
and you are drawing circles
and you drift farer and farer.
You will never be my husband after all.
sipping chardonnay
our dreams in waves
drift into the sunset

Clouds drift
white and soft
New ones form,
then fade
Feathery edges
sweep across
Silver light glints
Grey shadows drift
a splash of pink
in a deep blue sky
just tingeing the clouds
as they slowly drift by
sun slips behind the mountain
The snowflakes drift upon the wind
And settle on the windowsill
But also on the winter winds
Comes the sting of winters chill
Form:
The train whistle puffs
Frail familiarity
A world passes by
Muffled train sounds die away
White clouds of smoke drift behind
my mind grows weary
as the months become dreary
as you drift away from me
your hand falls from mine
why did you leave me be?
autumn breezes sigh
dying leaves drift downward still …
skitter across lawn

days drift
feelings shift
nights are long
wind blows
love goes
rain will fall
hearts break
spirit quakes
you are gone
words left unsaid
drift on the east wind-
&freeze my heart

ahead, underway
we drift
in motion

to dream drift away
in a bottle to journey
where I want to play
so empty to be
In a bottle then I see
you in there with me
Your aorta's been severed this will all be over very soon.
Don't fight it.
Just look into these pretty brown eyes and drift away.
clouds drift through halos
burnishing sienna cliffs --
shady dale cups rain

gray sky sheds its tears
snowflakes drift lazily down
boy soaps up runners
