You Follow My Drift

my last new poem
          was the penultimate one
              and second to none
          until this one came along
           now i pen ultimate one

WoW! David, You pen such deep poems that your reader think. Good wordplay; I hope this isn't your last write. Have a great day:-) Alexis

Heya Alexis, thanks for looking in, this one is a wordplay i hope, don’t want to be overly prophetic, but who knows, life is notoriously fickle, thanks again, cheers David

I was surprised to read this wonderful Tanka, and I hope that it will not be the final one if you create this new poetry. Have a wonderful day, my friend David

So do I Jo, such is life one never knows when we pen our final words, it’s meant as a word play with a little message perhaps, cheers David
