Down the drain,
Like unending rain,
Bringer of much too much,
Unending pain...
Who's responsible?
I don't know...
But down the drain,
I see it go.
We prayed to evade Delta Strain
God dumped on us buckets of rain
Trump spoke to the sky:
"There's no need to cry
My tax returns washed down the drain!"
As I stand below the waters
That rain down from above;

Don't leave me alone
i'm full of doubts
I always make the wrong
decisions and throw my
life down the drain
Pain always wins over love
that's why i stay single
what might have been
will never be
Oops, I recalled your face,
Ashen and wan;
You were petrified,
Shocked with drumbeat hearts.
'Goosh,' it sounded
as it slipped out
of your grab.
Down the drain it went,
Into the hall of shame.
Marijuana came around
LSD went to town
Cocaine in his brain
His life down the drain
Hashish to ease the pain
An outdoor wedding, no sign of rain
The bride’s gown had a 10-foot train
Crossing the lawn to her bequeathed
Fido snatched the train in his teeth
And Pop watched eight grand go down the drain
