They believed a Capitol riot could make a loser a winner,
After failing, they cling to changing facts by terror and thunder.
At frst consciousness there were
birds piping in the distance
nearby rifle reports, and;
Domestic beers in
off-brand cans.
Form:
I fear nothing,
except maybe,
feeling nothing at all.
You can't shake me,
not even thunder can move me,
watch as I
rumble and roll.
Domestic Abuse
Livid bruises fade … but the pain in your heart will remain forever
9TH January 2018
Decoded fatal suicide
Of a plastic man
Stuck in a can
Copeasettic and domestic
Daily journal is hectic
Deliberate lie, now hide

DOMESTIC SCENE
by the alley
paint bare and splintered
this leaning green fence
inside safe in their garden
two old women chattering
Captain's America shield
Loves all the American people
It protects his country from
Danger and a take over
From villains foreign and domestic
Champagne and almas caviar taste
On a domestic beer and pretzel budget
Fortunately we have each other

a neglected yearning
orphaned, long before death
concealed in view
obscured to the world
a parting conductor; reflected
an isolated pair
left without

the ice tea glass sweats on the counter
catching a sliver of late-day sun.
it looks almost holy,
a small shrine to quiet domestic victories.
Should I stay or should I go?
Will the abuse stop?
Tell me, I want to know.
Fight or flight, I want to get it right.
No more assaults on me,
I ‘ll pack my bags and flee in the night.
Preventing domestic contratemps
from morphing to explosions
requires tact, diplomacy, finesse
ability to decipher emotions ~
On armed cops my town relies
NO FEAR OF DOMESTIC
TERRORISTS THREATS
TRULY SAD I'LL TRY
HARD NOT TO READ
YOUR PLATES TODAY
UNLIKE FRANKIE BOY
CALI SHOT PICKING UP
HIS LICENSE PLATE
NO FEAR OF GARGANO
CRIME FAMILY
the art of doing nothing
takes precedence over
the art of domestic engineering
if marriage is not present
in other words, I don't cook, clean, or do diapers
if I'm not married

"You can't arrive at domestic Harmony without
the Journey."
What doesn't move
Is the Mountain nearby;
But it does endure
Because of the trees.
A culture of guns,
An epidemic of hate;
Domestic terror...
Stoking bigotry,
Klan pride & racism:
Cooing doves silenced...
Mocking clarity,
Rising white nationalism;
Justice checkmated...
cool midnight summer
a domestic, rabbits trots
despite loud crickets
midnight summer cool
rabbits trots across the grass
despite the thickets

Love, as daily habit
Passes them by
Its daydreamers. Clear of, in clouds
The world, float. Sigh!
For what down there, and true
Housed, and true blessed
Through little helps, littler gifts
Is so confessed.
\Poor Blessed belle black!
always domestic, servant!
Why never free...!!!
PS first poem in a series about blackness and slavery, mainly from the history of Brazil, so repeated around...

dark
bruises
round her eyes
masked by make up
domestic abuse
her inner pain
she hides well
her face
bright

common summertime
why a domestic, dogs hunts
and chase the rabbits

There once was a domestic diva named Stewart,
Who started a decorating empire and grew it.
It seems everthing she touched turned to gold,
Until she fell victim to that adage of old;
She succumbed to greed and promptly blew it.
Dark heart
Onyx bruises
Madd lover
Entrapment fooling
Swollen lips
Teal tears
Indigo ears
Crying years
Violet prayers
In shelters
Only light
Love weathered
Emerald eyes
Need sleep
Courageous flight
Embracing peace
The idyllic painting
I remember it well
The dirt road
The neglected
Domestic landscape
Growing wild
Tall
Ongoing battle
Freedom
For the strongest
I walked
Into the painting
Wore clogs
Yellow dust
Behind me
Going north.
