In my youth, I never whistled at a passing woman.
In my youth, I never made a raunchy catcall.
But I’m sure the gist of what I must've been thinking
could’ve made a city like Sodom or Gomorrah fall.
Sometimes I'm a victim of “foot-in-mouth” disease
Let me rephrase that, OFTEN a victim, down on my knees
No man is perfect
Mean no disrespect
Being human is the fault, life has no guarantees
Good Lord, save us from ourselves
And from the Devil.
Source of that inbred evil?
Have asked too much then.
