Premium Member In The Know

In The Know
We lost the Garden of Paradise
Where we no longer grow
And all because
Someone wanted
To be in the know

Poisonous Words

Killer sounds slips through her lips yet you haven't found relieve. Mind playing tricks, heart screaming truth. And you still disobey, not listening to her pain.

Premium Member Dancing My Way Rondelet

Dancing my way
out of your Hell on a trapeze;
Dancing my way
in brisk motion I disobey;
Flying high I could never freeze;
Every ounce of limelight I seize
dancing my way.

Premium Member Obedience

For the one who is willing the laws of our Lord forever to obey

Easy would find it the laws established by men not to disobey

Let Me Show You

Let me show you
What we’re up against
The world
The majority
Hard to have your own beliefs
When the planet pressures your system
But protect me
When I disobey the norm
And I’ll be fine

Premium Member Soul Betrayal

God speaks as conscience;
childlike innocence.
When we disobey,
soul’s blue skies turn grey.

Betrayed by our hand,
life’s barren and bland,
until we awake;
dark desires forsake.

Premium Member Precious Planet

This planet’s golden day
changed by a primate stray
that worked its evil way
and all rules disobey,
driving species away.

What was the golden day
has become grubby grey.
Now I have had my say,
I will without delay
be off and go my way.

The Word of Faith

In me there's joy
but in you there's chaos
and am the Lord,
the Lord of peace
not like you who are ever pride,
and jelousy to your friends.
In me there's life
and hope to the voiceless
not like you who disobey the laws,
to try what's wrong.

I Was Not Built To Be a Slave

I was built never to be a slave
I was built to be free
I was built to resist oppression
I was built to kill or destroy oppression
I was built to disobey tyranny
I was built in the image of God
To glorify God
And live human enough
Never ever to be a slave

Marionette

like a marionette strung up
to a couple of sticks, manipulated
by faceless hands

forced to dance to
a tune not my own
no will to disobey

dance puppet, dance
spin and jump, all the
while the strings twist

no release from
the wires that hold
strong and secure

Premium Member Follow The Light

Hot Sun whispers 'Go out and play.'
your spirit cannot disobey
it's a piece of the Milky Way
The darkest day, the darkest day;

Colored stars ignite a long night,
poetry the softest sound bite;
Peace is now colored chestnut white;
Follow the light, follow the light.

Conscience

Conscience is a mirror
If you disobey it
If you abuse it
If you overload it
If you ignore it
If you torture it
If you cheat it
If you lie to it
if you intoxicate it
You’ll float off-shore of life
And perish like deep water fish
Alone or with the world
You’ll go to catacombs

Premium Member Ought To Obey

Yes, my loving friend:

We should never disobey our Lord's ways

neither

must we question His laws and judgments,

but

we always ought to willingly obey His commands

for

He is our God and His wisdom is eternal!

MY SOUL LONGS FOR GOD

From childhood
Unto adulthood
I have tale-guided
My thoughts and inactions

Bible literature tells me that
Those who disobey God
Will find their space
In the sepulcher

While those who keep His commandments
Will join the heavenly host
And others
To celebrate with Pope Chaplains

An Innocent Child's Birthday Prayer

Heavenly Father, today I have decided to pray
Mother said, I need to obey
I need to take time out to learn too pray as I like to disobey,
She said too much of my time is spent on play
I should ask for guidance and pray
That no one leads me astray
By the way can I ask for a car and a sleigh for my birthday.

Time Does What It Wants

Time obeys me
            blindly when
                I say:
            - Go...!
            but disobey
             shamelessly when
              I order him:
            - Come back...!
            He never comes back
            but he comes when he wants...
            differently and indifferently..

Words

My thoughts, your feelings
A mute dialogue
Words are in the way
When we say
We won't stay
If we can't call the plays
The blame's not all ours
It's the mood of these days
That's why our hearts disobey
What we've said
It's words
They cant feel
What our spirits only know
And our minds misunderstand

Awake Out of Sleep

M-ove to awake out of sleep,
A-rmor of light must be put on;
U-rgency sense and priority urges you to walk the horizon.

E-ventide is far spent,
D-on't disobey God's command;
O-n the tenth of September,
R-ise of the sun is
A-t hand.

R-enew the way of life,
A-im to be mature and deep;
M-ain purpose is fulfilled,
O-nce you awake out of
S-leep.

Stranger In the World

R-ighteous stranger in the world
O-n the eighteenth of January
S-tays strong in her faith,
A-waiting the blissful glory.
L-et the stranger in the world
I-ntensify her hope and love;
N-ever does she disobey the Lord,
D-oing the will of God
A-bove.

T-he heaven's street is gold-paved,
A-s the great gates are pearled,
N-o more tears in the eyes
O-f the stranger in the world.

EVE

Eve is a warning example
for women of today.?To never disobey God,
to do things … our own way.

Over whelming desire to take
what belonged not to her
Danger dwell on wrong desires,
got her well … you know where.

Like Eve we all have our free will,
our choice ours to make.
Pray we women today smarter,
never make … Eve’s mistake.

Premium Member Racism Persists

It has been a century and a half since emancipation. However, stubbornly persisting is racial discrimination. Despite many anti-discrimination laws today, people are still breaking and ignoring them anyway. Racists from all over are continuing to disobey. The situation is just too perplexing to me. Why can't we ever learn to live in harmony? inspired by another member's poem

Run Away

annoyed and angry
I want to flee
hurt and alone
I need another home
abdonend and scared
wont someone answer my prays
I need to get away
I need to do what i say

I am going tonight
I'm running away
once there is no more light
saving myself today,
this was all set up and planned
but i don't think you understand
I'm not just running away
I'm not just disobey what you say
I'm running
I'm running from you!

Einstein's Hangover

I'm jarred, jolted up
      from a snoring sleep

by my cranky alarm clock's
      clang and beep;

my legs disobey me,
      can't make them move,

my hair stands stiff
      in the old Einstein groove;

all the way to the light
      switch by the door

I stagger up what seems
      like a mile or more;

then like a dog with
      a bone in its mouth

I drop myself back
      on my sleepy couch.
