Mishap disguises
An existential crisis
Leading to success

The mind is trying
On different disguises
Hoping for relief
I am going back to bed
To force myself into
Some healthier sleep
I thought I could hear, that deviant sound
of eerie boots, disobedient ground
Wearing disguises
Sharing surprises
Jack-Lantern, miscreant, boys are around
CIRCUS
Exiled from native homes
Slave creatures imprisoned,
Forced to do tricks,
Tightrope lions, clapping seals.
Elixir of grotesque clown disguises
Drab animal lives.
Trump A Revolting Development
Trump is revolting development who plagiarizes,
And everything that he tries to do disguises;
About parade size,
Told many lies;
Have heard that his dry hair has psoriasis.

At my age, there should be no surprises
Assuming I get it right each day the sun rises
But life can come up with
Yuck stuff with the bliss
At times the good stuff can wear disguises

Who is to know?
What is real?
Are you it?
Do you know?
Do you care?
Does it matter?
Will it infect?
Love?
Peace?
Truth?
Lies?
Disguises, disguises, and surmises are no surprises
For the wisest.
~~Get Thee Behind Me Satan~~
Temptation comes in all sorts of guises
Through eyes and touch there's no disguises
But the worst thing about being tempted into sin
Is when we look or touch
And then still fall in....
Fair Lady
Brown, hazel, green eyes and blue. God made the descendants
of Europe beautiful too.
Brunettes and blonds,
Reds, highlights - various disguises.
Displaying God’s beauty
in various shapes and sizes.
God made us all beautiful in his sight.
Who are you really, when no one is watching?
What makes you think and act like you do?
When will you stop pretending and drop your disguises?
Where will you find your identity true?
Why not embrace the uniqueness of you?

Times Square
Intersects the television screen.
At the crescendo of the scene
A starlet sings a melancholy song,
Hiding in a costume that disguises
The method she employs
To hypnotize the audience.

Clouds obscure the morning's bright sun
the heat already rises
A Sparrow lands upon the porch
His questions disguises
He was following a Redbird
Distressed at his pursuit
She noisily chattered just leave
You're different you brute
Out On The Porch

Your smile amazes
Your eyes blazes
A heart of daisies
I’m left singing your praises
My mind phases
Lost in your mazes
Subconscious gazes
I can’t help at your poses
Hearts wear disguises
Thorns amongst roses
Hide from love’s red lasers
I now rest pushing them daisies

At the edges of everyone’s being
Are those perfect little surprises,
Lying in wait to be discovered
By unsuspecting enterprises.
Perfectly delightful peccadilloes
Sometimes wearing odd disguises
Small things that make our day
Shared with us like token prizes.

Opportunities come in varying disguises
Chances missed always causes disgusts
Nevertheless, time always is evolving.
The wheel can't be reinvented but requires
improving
Too Many Too Late. Time and chance has passed.
The next generation will seize the moment that is paused.

Love meets us where we are
and sees through
Our disguises
Our guises
Our performances
Our nuances
Our expectations
Our innovations
Our convictions
Our contradictions
Our excellencies
Our inconsistencies
Love greets us where we are
Sees right through us
and does not run away
the love you see
in other people
is but a reflection
of the love
inside of you
the whole world
is our reflection
if you could see
just how beautiful
and precious each
of us are behind
our many disguises
we are wondrously
made and conceived
but some of us never
bother to even look
so i see it for you

Selfish and granted I'm givin' to what's taken.
Terribly pleasant sadness disguises; forgives and is forsaken.
I just want my love to hide under the covers tonight.
I only wanted suffering.
I only wanted a trap to want a victim.
God and mother left me wondering if I ever wanted another one to break my sickness.
Devil stand brother.
My heart is heavy
For I wonder what’s next
In this world so steady
When you don’t feel the hex
Is it just a game again
I hear you say
And I have lost many friends
Don’t be lost just stay
The hex materialises
And cover won’t help
For it comes in many disguises
So away from you it you should melt.

Disguises we wear
come off at night
as we grip our pillows tight
Many times pondering
upon our insignificant and trite lives....
Come morning blinded by
the dawn's early light
we are reminded in spite
of the many rays that shine
that we can fake many things
but we can't hide the truths
in ourselves we so desperately try to deny...
We've seen unknown faces of friends,
Find it hard to trust innocence...
Try not to think of where we've been,
Though we can't escape our skin...
Disgust wearing disguises...
We all got puke up to our knees
Soon though hunger will settle in
Cuts that can wait on bleeding
Blood stream
Main stream
Blood clot binge

Love philosophizes:
I will eulogize obstruction
I will displace your obstruction
You and I are one. Frugally: - “Who can be this one” Squealing! - “The free seller”. The seller is fled and I know his place, disguises and winks, there in the lane’s backside birds bid streams for dryness.
Love me with no pocket
Though I muse on those pockets you own.
Hide away, my child
Hidden dangers lurk beneath
Innocence prevail
Hatred manifests
Alarmingly disguises
As contorted love
Lost society
Pressured into submission
Subterfuge action
Gains foothold, at last
With enlightened applauses
New generation
Into the soul's well
Restitution shines beacon
Forgiveness takes time

Venus in love
alluring and enduring
brightest light in sky
has eyes only for Adonis
who is the handsome
hunter of the woods,
she disguises as Diana,
goddess of the hunt,
helping Adonis with
his enjoyment of stalking
and killing animals
until the love of her life
dies by the wrath of a boar,
ending to a twisted tale
of manipulated lust.
What are the colors of Love
Its shapes and various sizes?
My God! To even venture a guess
I would need to know
all Love’s secrets
and voluminous disguises--
And yet, my love,
in the course of the day
in a year
or a lifetime or two,
if forced to part
somewhere along
the unfortunate way
I know, my heart
missing you, could never
make do….
