Fear Is Wisdom

If
The fear of God
Is the beginning
Of wisdom
Then what is
Wisdom

Me thinks
Wisdom is
The sum of
What one knows
Digested.

Turista

While backpacking in downtown Mumbai
I digested a spicy meat pie
It wasn't too long
'Till I smelt a pong
And then felt something run down my thigh.

Food of Love

Eating food with love
No matter how much I eat, I'm not full
not hungry also
Where will the food of love be digested?

Do you know what love's food is?

Poetry

A poetic expression of words spoken through lips
From a mind subjected to what it thinks
Left written on a piece of paper married to a pen
For your mind to marinate digested poetry

Everlasting Provision

A
handful
meets our need-
just a little
digested daily, bread on which to feed
a
spoonful
fills our heart,
saturates us
from top to toe,so helping love to flow

Inspired by Elijah's story @! K 17:1-6

Bungling Bankers and Brutal Bakers

Bungling Bankers and Brutal Bakers

There are those who were muck rakers,
As well as liars, losers and breath takers;
Improperly invested,
And poorly digested;
Been bungling bankers and brutal bakers.

Words That You Spout

“You are not defiled by what you ingested
that passes to the bowel as food digested.
No. It is what comes out
in foul words that you spout
that shows your heart is with evil infested.”

Mark 7.1-23

Rabbit Residual

Who did plod through the fresh laid sod
What plunderous rogue could be so treacherous
When did the fresh, bright mane garner brackish stain
Where did the stealthy herbivore dump digested core
Why did that silly hare his gastronomical fare share

Crash To Laugh

Lovely...

to
Free intentions, found in half-digested blindness,
desperate troubled soul,
no appetite of my flesh,
whilst you love death and light?

empty hands burning desire,
was my end guide,
striving and sober,
Crashed this tongue
to
laugh...

Conception

Standing
as in a dream
            bemused
in my private world
alone

and yet surrounded
by others

                thoughts
read
digested
and considered

waiting
listening then
             writing
my verse
I awake,content

until the next
time

They Walk Amongst Us

amongst the billions of people
there be some very sensitive
to others feelings...pains
sensed and unconscious
expression digested
they present statistical
probability they can read minds...
that is only just part of this 'scenario'
a situation where-in people hide

Yesterday

Yesterday was with us
Yesterday is like a
Digested food that
We ate last night
They told us that
Teachers are light
The learners are their
Evidence their light
Yesterday I was flogged
As a child by my mother
for me to be better today
Yesterday was my past
Today is my present

Chrysalis

Able to take change
in smaller increments …
the total overwhelms

The pieces digested
in tiny fragments
absconding from the realm

— Breaking it down —
 taming the maelstrom
 hail turns into rain

The whole reemerging
inside my becoming
 transforming me again

Daily Pills

Life can be a bitter pill
Swallowed every day
Taken with each and every meal
Digested by the brave

We carry on hoping that things
Will someday improve
Try to lessen every sting
Of blows that tend to bruise

If you remember anything
Know that you can succeed
It is possible win
Dreams can be achieved

Loss of Creativity

You reside behind my eyeballs,
but you most enjoy paralyzing my fingertips.
You feast on the thought-clots
plugging my brain.
You see what I once saw
because you watch what is stolen from me,
as I desperately grasp at what
was digested long ago.
When will my mind be freed?
When will my imagination be reborn?

My Guess Is An Apple

The deceased is a white female
mother of 7 boys
approx. height 5 foot 6 inches
weight 160
black hair
eyes brown
very pale complexation
no sign of external trauma
time of death approx. 24 hrs ago
removing contents of stomach
reveals some semi digested meat
some root vegetables
and what appears to be some fruit

Sun

It was in the heat
Of your desire
That my dream began
To blossom
And then to fade
Like a flower
I could not eat
For the flower
Comes before the fruit
And if the fruit
Is a raisin
It is sweet
Enough
To be digested
In the mouth
Salt as sea
And then to rise
Again
Over blues of mountain
A stiletto in the eyes.

Siarska Part Three

Stalk .... hunt .... sniff
With a talon Siarska's hand is no humans
Breaking into a nursery
Babies blood calls
Lingers of pureness
Fresh and virginal
Innocent of the wicked things that taint the air
Sleep soundly no peace
Devoured and grabbed
Digested with a pant
The nurses rush in ....
What have you done Siarska

Betrayal

Betrayal,the ignition of feelings unknown,
Driven,yet at equilibrium.
Surrounded by thought's
Dejected,Vile,and Bile
Yet beautiful when digested.

Shattered, and crucified on the inside
yet admirable on the outside.
How sour I ask
Shall the medicine of bitterness be.
As I find myself drowning in the pit
Of one's spit.
