A Mere Diatribe
A Mere Diatribe

A mere diatribe,
Which is full of silly words;
Where should I start next?

Writer Starting Out as a Scribe

Am writer starting out as a scribe,
Who depicted things in my diatribe;
Never late;
Poems create,
Like medical doctor does prescribe.

Listen to poem:
You imbibe the diatribe,
quaffing the jibe for a bribe
to remain silent and acquiescing.

Struck mute to suit
your unfussed cowardice
in failing to speak up,
when you know the throng is wrong like you
to remain silent,
a seething flock in shock.

Inertia, inherent,
in the same inane inaction....

Hinkleworths Diatribe
yes, yes
you see, my boy
we are the belts of society
you may hear such a statement and recoil;
for indeed, it is frivolous. but what is a belt?
a woven fiber, which must remain firm and taut,
and exists only to uphold a curtain
shielding from sight shameful and private entities.
entities that govern
all that we know...

a confusion of conundrums,

with lexicon's of verbs and phrase,

some mixtures of couplets rhyming

plus stanzas of wordy flow,

the diatribe of tribluation,

oh..! go on blame it all on me...

But no! i must conclude with this invocation..)

i call to witness poetry...!

Tears and Missteps
My words the result
  of the times I’ve lived
  not a classroom exercise

My feelings all paid
with the blood of my fears
  not a rambling diatribe

My trail has been lined
  with each tear and misstep
  to mark the way ahead

My life a memory
  telling a tale
—whose direction my soul has led

Grandma Told Me
My grandma said to me,
Be a warrior for Christianity,
Celebrate our blessed Lord,
His eternal Love, we're awed,
His healing, powerful, strong,
Our faith does linger on,
Join our good vibes tribe,
Think chirpy, no diatribe,
Pray together is the plan,
Praise Jesus, son of God, son of Man,
I still sense my Grandma's loving hands,
Finally, we can all understand.......

I Have a Muse
I Have A Muse
By R.e. Taylor

I have a muse
She is with my every breath
My faith in her always continues
And it will until my death
Every word she tells me I will inscribe
I will leave it for everyone to see
Even if it sounds like a diatribe
When I die engrave my best on my block of stone
And place her name beneath the quote
Let everyone know of the muse who never left me alone

Diatribe From An Empty Room
The mind was old before it came upon you,
it took your shoes
made you walk upside down
in an inverse eye.

Pray tell, is all well?

Now expostulate your lip tripe
and see if any much broken soul
cares.

Keep your trapdoor mind,
your garmented flapping pockets
so full of the disavowed,
the cancelled out widow weeds
of fake sorrow.
Be not evermore, be not even now.

As always there is much to be taken back....

Cheap Furniture Repair
She reaches,
Uncrontrablly,
For my Heart.

But this diatribe
is Missing now.

And unlike you,
I can't self-repair
Without a set of
Instructions.

So bold, so feverish,
I retreat into a coma

Protecting myself
from this poison.

Not easy and
A full time job, girl.

So you sat the sunrise
Out this round, but
I can't agree anymore.

Make Me Wanna Die
Crushed stones trampled upon desire raped the rose vase broken Diatribe and gothic screams songs twirl inside my head my cold cold face my fortress a magic cruel horror place in the dark... I run, run , run make me wanna die Cause I am so fed up all my tears have run away hidden in my coffin of spears spurts of bloody skin naked, never good enough just a scrawny dead torso make me wanna die

Just a little word with
So many guises

Incoherent inefficient ineffective reaction
Inconsistent blame
Vengeful malaise
Conscious disregard
Blameless resolve
Sanctimonious irksome indifference
Creative revenge
Wreckage for sport
Intensive bigotry
Hyperbolic generalisation
Disinterestedness
Complacent autocratic dogma
Crass philistine opportunism
Nimble forgetfulness
Vigorous ignorant diatribe
Impotent nostalgia

All in a day’s work for those
Whose envy knows no bound...
