Desperately Seeking
I cry out loud
For any one to hear my plea
This loneliness that nobody notices
Is driving me insane
Form:
C arried through life on the spillage of blood
R azed raw by ruthlessly sadistic emotions
Y earning desperately for death
If you want something
so desperately
you will
work harder-
work stronger
to achieve
what people say
you'll never have
Desperately clinging to the side of the mountain
Trying to hold on
Just one wrong move
In that moment it’s all gone!
Desperately wish
That I could feel the same way
But I simply don't
And that hurts you so badly
Forget me, and find true love.
Always misunderstood,
Blaming others not at fault,
Challenging wisdom,
Desperately, trying to
Eliminate the need to be loved
A cigarette burn hole
with floating memories
crushing the ashy edges.
God, please quit smoking by
the next time you mold me.
