Christmas Joy
Christmas fun
Angel wings
Snow in Sun
Sleighs on dells
Joyful things
Tinkling bells
My heart swells
The choir sings
Love here dwells
12-28-19...

Never Be As Good As Poe
Bells, bells, bells!
Bells in the glens and bells in the dells!
Bells in heaven and bells in hell!
Bells on the sea and bells on the swells!
Ah, for me what misery they spell!...

Nature's Overalls Overall
In the West it seems frost and jingle bells
In the East its now the hot sunshiny spells
Yet the dells look fabulous
whether quilted in snow
or bright green carpets
Nature can be spicy hot or icing on cake....

Habitat of the Mind
At times the mind is a wild horse.
Sprinting over the plains in a thunderstorm.
Sometimes it's a willow in an angel dream...
Dancing merrily above a mountain stream.
But mostly it dwells in the misty dells of somewhere in between....

Your Lips
Your lips are the dells of the wells that I drink
The pink in the blues of the bells in my sink
The sweet summer smells in the fragrance of rose
That rise in the swells of the scents in my nose.

Pastures Green
the glebe
the veldt
the steppes
the glens-
the dells
filled
with
sedge
and
vetch
pebbles
sand
and
tufts
of
grass
catch
the
wind:
the salt air
succours
thirsty
poppies
so fair...

Lily Bells
How rainbows covet lily bells
that chime the dulcet birth of May
with murmured notes in fay pastels.
How rainbows covet lily bells,
mellifluous in shaded dells,
to mime in tranquil bloom manque.
How rainbows covet lily bells
that chime the dulcet birth of May.

Mostly Bluebells
Mostly bluebells
in dells and fells
that springtime tells
with her soft bells.
In my ears' shells
you say "Bluebells..."
and my tear wells
by fells and dells.

Observe
Spells of luscious sound and wondrous vision
bells that fill the air with mystic tones
wells of crystal cascades sating endless thirst
dells a golden haunt for clustered stones
Wings propel red robin’s noonday flight
rings affirm a passion spanning many lives
things we hoard and blindly cast away
Kings and Queens who feast at royal beehives...

My Thanks To You
MY THANKS TO YOU
The Clouds
The Dells
The Fields
The Streams
The Valleys
The Wildflowers
The Seas
The Dreams
The Meadows
And the Sun rise too
Our Families
Our Friends
Are all Gifts
From You
But the Gift of Love
You sent to Us
Upon that Christmas Morn
Was the Greatest of Gifts
We could Recieve
Once more I Thank You God
Cile Beer...

Body of Nature
An enchanted celestial forest
Crying with startled eagerness
And screaming loudly with wild vigor
Just as winter bends its head
Hearing the rustling winds
In the starlit sky
Dread rests with wild abandonment
On a cold winter eve
Whilst daylight rushes in
Deep down in the enchant of
Lush green valleys and wooded dells
Nature displays her purity...

Favorite Designer
Livingroom is full of absolute crazy joy.
It is more colorful than a toddler’s toy.
The designer knows the buyer very well.
They grew up together in Wisconsin Dells.
I love everything about it the recipient said.
She knows my tastes from my kitchen to my bed.
They are sisters and have grown up together.
No better investment, uplifting colors in every weather....

Butterflies
A kaleidoscope of butterflies
greets my eyes,
on entering this paradise.
Specially built to give joy
to each little girl and boy.
Who never see them now.
As a child I remember well,
there were loads of them
in the glens and dells.
A sure sign of summer.
Along with buzzing bees.
Birds singing in the trees.
Mankind has messed it up.
Their habitat kaput.
With overuse of weedkillers,
and random hedge cutting.
I, for one will be returning
to Butterfly Land this morning....
