Perhaps the greatest good deed
      the world so urgently needs

    Neglected act of crystal clarity
its once ubiquitous name is charity

The Governor's name was Bob Neville

Who was known as a civic devil

But through deified greed

Never did a good deed

I don't think he was on the level

Sacred Deed

Have a great birthday, Brother Gem,
The Lord provides man's every need;
Making a promise so solemn
Before God is a sacred deed.

A bird dropped one on me today....
                                      perhaps his way of saying
                                                                   "thanks" for the bird feeder

Live each day like how l want it
I live in you
Every day I will guide you
I love with you
Be loved
I go everywhere with you
Do what I want you to do
Be like little kids

The Deed

Many’s the man who wished that he could And often’s the time he knew that he should And given the option he thought that he would But the Deed was accomplished by someone … Who did!

Trump Does Dastardly Deed

Trump Does Dastardly Deed

What Trump does is dastardly deed
And has been known to barely read
To do bad things he will stoop
According to latest poop
Nitwit and nincompoop well agreed.

Premium Member A Nasty Deed

With his friends, Ben was playing hide and seek
They said, "Put your head in the pool, don't peek"
They'd done a nasty deed
In the water they'd peed
Then, spent the next week calling Ben a freak

Reward follows in ways you never expect When you have done the right thing, my friends, For a good deed or a kind word will not go Unrecognized, and the ripple from it never ends.

Friend In-Deed

A friend I thought I had
when you came with a smiling gaze
But here I stand now
        trapped in a lonely haze
Cast down the memory drapes
        and put me in denial
Deadly are your deeds
they drown me in a pool of betrayal

Quatrain #142:
DEED

Decree sure voice as stillness sums,
Explore deep poise as trials now come;
Express clear choice as fear hurls strokes,
Decrypt vain noise that hides in psalm.

Deed Tears

And the deed
Is undying,
The wound is
Not a healing process.

And then
Small axes
Could not cut down
Big, big trees

An image,
A human face, a man;
An eye with tears
Flowing from it
Becoming his hair.

It is an
Experience that is
Its only chance.

THE OCEAN’S DEED Rushing waters of natural pool cascade onto my head. Better half's off to grab camera — shot he’ll take when I’m dead. The ocean’s deed to push me under amuse the man I’ve wed. 7/25/2020 7/25/2020 Modern Sijo Total of 45 syllables

Not for what I have done,
but what you've done for me,
you love me in deed.

Not for who I now am,
but for who I will be,
your love intercedes.

Not for my blemishes,
but in spite of all them,
your love supercedes.

You refine me with fire
like a purified gem.
You love me indeed.

Seed bold deed
Feed fond need

Toy with ploy
Coy meets joy

Will be still
Feel deep thrill

Play floods day
Say greets way

Merge with urge
Dirge knows surge

Pain sets gain
Rain now stains

Grow wise flow
Show feels glow

Time for rhymes
Mime moves chimes

Premium Member a good deed

I have a relative who does his best to look poor.
He probably has a larger bank balance than any of us.
Never married, no children or grandchildren.
He looks penniless at garage sales.

He will poke around looking at something for an hour.
“Sir do you want that?” Someone will ask.
“Just take it.”
Doing a good deed for a millionaire.

Death comes
Chokes the air
Drains breath
End brief flair

Death plays
Steals odd yoke
Strips say
In full stroke

Death grips
Sense of ease
Funds trip
To end lease

Death chokes
What grief stores
Harsh poke
To juice more

Death styles
A new fest
Lost smile
In end quest

The Deed Is Done

Looking into the sun
seen all that has begun
Feeling the cold metal of gun
the deed is done
we make decisions
to direct our lives
with actions things change
that cannot be taken back
But have begun and spun
Looking into the sun
darkness grows
it has begun
see the shells that have
spun crazy lazily spinning
around bouncing on the ground
the deed is done
