Shrivelled day,
Mottled charred desires,
Still pursuits,
Dying hope,
Shadowed duty engagement,
We fall and rise still.
Vampires of despair
Preying on your mind at night
To lick your cold sweat
As their tongues speak of lost love
Draining your body of hope
Shrouded within the underside of clouds,
shade shapes shift like imagination's whims,
light seeping anew like birds through obscurity.

It is still dark.
But there is a
soft glow on
the horizon.
Soon, it will be
bright enough
for all to
read the verses
penned in these
dark times.
Soon!
sounds of violin crying out in the dark
desperate for one solitary ray of moonlight
string along all lost souls who stray in the night

I gaze up
Into the Abyss of darkness,
The expanse of blackness.
And see their smiling faces gazing back at me.
Shining, beaming,
Glowing, gleaming.
I'm glad to
Know
There are stars.
Form:
The craziness of the world
comes to a close in silence
draws breath and shuts down
gathers into a ball of fire
gracefully falls into darkness
to dream of a better tomorrow

Do not throw your life away
You have a lot to live for
Just get off of those streets
That is for sure
Nothing but terrains and trivails
Along with lots of trouble
Get it all together
And move on the double
In the dark
Is where you will find yourself
If you do not shape up
And get some help
Avoid hanging around bad company
For they are the ones who bring you down
There is a cloudy scenery
You will fall right to the ground
from a winged elm tree
a wren's knife cuts through glum dawn ~
joyful day afoot

dark clothing
dark skin
dark place
may be
but
dark sees
the realities of life
beyond superficialities
deeper meaning
happiness and light
laughter and love
aware
of life

Despair
empty, bleak
shivering, whimpering, trembling
gloom, doom … light, music
wondering, brightening, affirming
lustrous, radiant
Hope
Darkness is the central part of the night
When rest will be taken by sleeping
Cursing self in the morning for the work
Indeed not always you welcome morning
But why do you aim for bright future
And why do you consider darkness as it is
Stars............
Burning balls of gases,
Decorating the night sky,
Displaying the miraculous beauty in nature,
Wasting itself to be with the thousands of souls,
Who are alone in the world,
Giving them hope, in their darkest time.

A needlepoint of stars I see,
When falls the darkest night;
In fact, the fewer stars I see
When the nearest is most bright!
For by darkness do I count the stars,
And of late, the sky’s aglow—
How very odd this paradox
Is most clearly what I know!
You sit alone and stare at the wall
And darkness is all that you will find
Messing around with narcotics
Is sadly destroying your mind
Just get yourself some help
And take back your life
Remove yourself from the negative
Move towards the right track
Would there ever be a light at
the end of the tunnel?
She didn't know, she couldn't see one;
she waited and she hoped
knowing there'd be no guarantee.
Still she persisted waiting in the dark
for even just a spark.

Find me at the bitter end,
Of the darkest stories that’s ever been told
Waiting….Longing,
For your gentil aura to slay me with your light.
And there I shall remain.
Trapped in a blissful mirage,
More real than the stories I’ve lived and many more told.
Being... Finally.
Finally, being.
Crow on cold stones
This black being making
A gas station appearance
Intersection traffic
Horns and lights
Sunset shortly
Walking stone to stone..
Ignoring noisy polluted
Starts and stops..
A stoic warrior
In our time of
Heedless searching..
Then he flew and I
Transcended his moment...
she brings
the stars
to the night sky
she brings
the sun
to the day
without this light
we would live
in darkness
in darkness
we would live
in fear dismay
this makes us
appreciate
the light
the light
is love
in darkness
it allows us
to find our way
on cold grey days
shivering under rain
how I yearn
for the gift
of lazy summer days
when life tastes of honey
and the breeze is mellow
I’ve but to close my eyes
to still feel warm sunrays
tingling on my skin
how I yearn
for the nostalgic gift
of lazy summer days

grey drapes the colour of my realm
thick heavy fog pervades over
my thoughts that wander
to where I do not know
i cannot see
in bursts of silence
i gasp for air
a stagnant emptiness
is all i find
it boils it rages
and yet i feel it true
that with tomorrow
blue skies may come again
