Notes About The Poem

Hanging On

grey drapes the colour of my realm
thick heavy fog pervades over
my thoughts that wander
to where I do not know
i cannot see

in bursts of silence
i gasp for air
a stagnant emptiness
is all i find

it boils it rages
and yet i feel it true
that with tomorrow
blue skies may come again

Such a nice, hopeful turn at the end.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your poetic brilliance once again which I delight in. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
