The View Contest
Twigs and branches crunched,
Revealing a wholesome face,
Curiosity
Generated a fine glimpse,
Of Mother Nature’s kind charm.

Crunched Away Her Curds Horn Haiku
Crunched Away Her Curds

What a woman who
To say only had few words;
Crunched away her curds.

It was something about
Mary being so contrary.
Get it?

The gregarious Mr. Jim Carrey
Crazy comic who makes merry
Seated on a jury first day trial did start
Smiled, crunched up his face and let out a loud fart...

Brave little turtle,
Crossing the road.
Dodging traffic,
Shelling the load.

Slow and steady,
Forever hunched.
Always praying,
Never crunched.

The price of life,
Yes, you've paid it.
Now safe across,
Hurray! You made it....

Limerick : Once a tongue-twisting Pop Man-Eater

Once a tongue-twisting Pop Man-Eater
Went on rampage with just her Strummer
Tunes she hissed were so sweet
Crunched Frenchmen by the fleet
Watch Out ! ‘Merica ! for this Nor’-Easter !

Summer sun burning
Blazing azure sky
Scorched tawny meadow
Pallid hues of trees
Tanned people on beach

Heat of long day
Lethargic spell
Sunset relief
Pull of cold treats

Birds chirping
Hot wind blow
Dry leaves crunched

Mango
Ice cream

Chill

Snow
My fingertips touched the glistening snow
A smile formed that I could show
The cold sensation climbed up my veins
Like a race car in the fast lane
A simple shiver spread swiftly down my spine
In an on-going line
My toes crunched inside my shoes
and wiggled with a sensation that was almost blue...

Premium Member November Dreams
A marquee of stars dims, to beckon early winter’s stage;
Reflecting crunched flowers in ghastly hues, detached from their limp boughs.
The nightfall drapes hush of serenity , as flakes soothe trees’ nest.

Wind
Windy wild wind whipping flailing and cutting through
You bring us together like invisible glue

Holding hats and huddling hands clasping crunched capes
Jealous soul you bold barometric beast

Hairdos, skirts, scarves, hats and pails blown away in envious fury
If we could capture you you’d be in front of a jury!...

Predator
He prowls on quiet paws
in the cold – dark night.
His nose bent low to sniff
the scent of the prey.
Hunched crunched to the ground,
ready to pounce at the slightest sound,
his beady fathomless eyes
glitter in the thick darkness;
searching—always searching!
First a low groan deep in his throat,
then a feeble moan…
the prey is held....

Nightmare
I am crying in a bettle nest
No were to take a rest
My hands are crunched
Legs are couched
Everything seems so drowzed
Looking here & there to find a way
But darkness signals the end of day..

My eyes are paining
Everything seems draining
Throat is chocked
Situation seems to get rugged
Praying for a saviour
But situation had its own selfish behaviour....

The Forest Book
An index of first growth,
             bound in curled leaf,
             a glossary of shadow

over the deep crunched floor
             of cone ,splinter and spruce.
             Coda; the glass

of silence is often broken,
             lost words seek
             the brown narrative of winter,

the best time
to read the trees, the text....

Sassy Strife Stocked
punctured passion plucked
gaunt confetti crunched
perforating porous pulps
oozing glitches gulped
cozy contractions cupped
lanky liquid's lust

eerie efforts etched
pompous platter's crest
sucking salient stress

gullible groom grooved
hoisted passion puked
bride trust bruised

meagre honeymoon mocked
sassy strife stocked.

Bursting Busty Bruise
waning wits smirked
vying voluptuous verge
meagre mood metamorphose
saucy spell's sauce
hoisted hankerings hummed
pruning punctured pukes

dark dribbles dazed
rusty reels raved
rusticating riff's creates

lanky lusts birthed
callous crisps cremated
crunched crescendos hibernated

crumbling contractions cruised
bursting busty bruise.

Summer’s return
Summer- embraced, like a returning friend-
from a distant land. Here warmth descends-
here, she’s standing at the green fence.

Listen- Summer’s chipping off her snack-
rain and leaves crunched, with the cracks,
incessantly- stirring a nostalgic hunger’s lack.

Summer & melancholic hopers/the night eaters
in awakened dreams that have a bygone savor
of love & loss becoming- temporary painkillers....

Shadow Dance
As morning light glistened on the trees
I walked quietly, stepping into the woodlands freed
brittle leaves crunched beneath my feet and knees
and bird song chattered on the breeze,
lost to time and city strife
I found a calm beyond this busy life
in the forest old and primeval
stretching to the heavens like church steeples
rays of sunlight twinkled through each branch
and I hummed embracing the shadow dance....

Picture Perfect
I sunk my teeth in
And chomped loudly
I pulled away
juice dribbling down my chin

My macintosh apple
Red as a rose
Sweet as sugar
Juicy like an orange
Shiny like lip gloss
Deformed like a blob
Crunched like chips
Perfect as a picture
Tasted like Heaven

My perfect little apple
Reminds me of the
Great things our planet
Has to offer...
Just like our own little Heaven
We just have to look a little harder...

Homecoming
I had a dog way back when
With white teeth and tail a wag
He slept so fine in steepled den
Crunched on a chicken, like a rag

With eyes of brown, and fur of black
Patrolled the farm, a canine cop
The silly cats he would attack
And barking noise should never stop

One snowy day he disappeared
Walking a road he often trod
Did not return, as I feared
Where was my dog? I asked God

Then one night, I heard him bark
My friend returned in pitch dark...

Premium Member One Gray Hair
Her wrinkles were joy-flecked twinkled with facial lines brightly smile crunched. Her eye shade vague, but love sprinkled from decades of holding faith bunched. She prayed steady, her praise ready. Her giggle rendered me tickled. Her heart-ways raised me cherish-touched. Loving my Gram much, tears trickled the morning I found her death clutched. Not one gray hair lacked my despair.

Remixed Mozart
Evil Intentions
Classic crunched into food
Zoom away
An endless pit of sorrow
JACKASS
An evil wonderer
A king on his throne
Fantasy land
Mozart would despise his creation
PIXMATARIAN
SANYOSAN
An evil shadow bears the two
Calm peace
Eternal slumber
Rising into heavens feet
Taken like a lover off her feet
An evil desk
Of mesmerising creations
Inflicting children’s minds
Speed up
Evil quadruples by cloning
The evil surfaces
The evil is Mozart’s Remix...

Because of One Lie
Told a lie but didn't realize
That lie became reality
Something built inside me
It won't go away
I'm ashamed
Why this is happening
The lie was a trick for them
Now a trick back on me
Eyes closed shut
Nose stuffed
Ears popped every five minutes
Back crunched by the second
Throat full of blood
What was i thinking of?
Could hardly breathe
Wheres the family
Out of house
No help
Hospital I yell
No help
I fall asleep slowly
Still no family
Still no help...

Premium Member Skeletons of the Sea
They crunch under foot
Before i give notice
Shells and corals
These skeletons of the sea
Reds and purples
Most bleached white
upon this beach
Whole or in part
Vacant
thou some with
Inhabitants
Strewn across the
High water marks
Once alive and vibrant
With fish and bigger
Swimming about
Down in the depths
Of an apt name sea
Now broken
And divorced
From their watery home
To land on foreign
Dry shore
To be crunched under foot
These skeletons of the sea...
