Funny Poem for a 7-Year Old
I jumped from the plane while making a wish
My purpose and plan was feeding the fish
Now feeding the crocodile
I suddenly lost my smile
Invited to supper I'm their main dish
If pray
A burning bush
Twas to appear
I fear
Crocodile tears
May not be enough
To quell
It's flammable design
In time for next pennants
And confessions
That's the trouble
with getting old
everyone is waiting
for you
to die
at least
in ancient cultures
they didn't shed

they put you out

I jumped from the plane with a great big smile
But reaching the ground would be such a trial
