In the Cards

I was up at the crack of Dawn
Who was sleeping with nothing on
A little peek
A little sneak
A Straight Flush beats carrying-on!

Which Is Which

Which is earlier between the crack of dawn and the break of dawn
Because I want to wake up to the blessing before it's gone

Closed Captioning

Don Key went hither, thither and yon
Plowing fur rows to the crack of Dawn
From March to December
This upstanding member
Served as a yokel phenomenon
Form: Limerick

Dawn

A sunbather out on the lawn
Garnered staring but never a yawn
For one glance at her back
Showed a thong sitting smack
On the very exposed crack of Dawn.

Premium Member Silly Milly

There once was a girl named Milly,
Who was incredibly silly.
At the crack of dawn,
She'd bathe with clothes on,
That way she wouldn't get chilly.

Premium Member ....And Light Laps the Rocks

and light laps the rocks
drooling on the crack of dawn
food for candy thoughts

quick licks trick the lip
hot, hot, fort, in disarray
oh, pur, pur, again

Awakening Sky

As the golden ball ascends
At the crack of dawn
The magical sky radiates
Hues of yellow, orange and red

Premium Member Spring Into Action

How much time does a man have
Only as much as God gives him

So spring into action at the crack of dawn
Then keep up the pace and the rhythm

You only live once, as we all realize
Don't squander the time ~ Be wise

It's Insane

Insane pain
In my brain
Bust the main
Inner vein

Took a pill
For this pain
Want to kill
It’s insane

Fell asleep
On my pillow
Just beneath
My big old willow

Opened my eyes
Pain was gone
Woke up nice
Crack of dawn
Form:

Road Island Red

The majestic
Road Island Red Rooster
Awakens, and yarns
Then, scratches his head,
Flaps both wings and
Jumps back in bed
Oh my, he goes back to sleep
Dear friend, you promised us
A magic cockle-doodle-doo,
At the crack of dawn

My Wonder Mother

From the crack of dawn to hours of late
She worked tirelessly for her brood of eight
Sweaty and exhausted, waited till everyone ate
Then watered down the curry for her plate

the water cloudy

taken a sick day

of course tomorrow
i’ll need to get up
at the crack of dawn
to make up for lost time

Fallen Rifts

Love
is what
I needed
to find the place
where I had fallen.
Crack of dawn runs fingers
of lace through the fallen rifts
where Love caressed, and molded me.
Where its bright radiance once spoke of
memories and dreams loose in silken streams.

Premium Member Woke Up This Morn

Woke up this morn
  At the crack of dawn
Hopped out of bed
Had to get my day on

Opened the door
  Ran outside
All my neighbors
  Wore smiles so wide

So I smiled back
  And then I looked down
Seems I'd forgotten
  to put my clothes on

Premium Member A Huge Moon

Once upon a time a huge moon flew between my eyes.
I beheld a starry night, not amused, my demise.

T’was at the crack of dawn
   On a summer’s lawn.

Like Daliwood, time displaced, as you revealed your disguise.

Recalibrate, rededicate, remotivate
Life calls on us to demonstrate

that we will not quit, give up, or surrender
    not become down-and-out dead-enders

So suck it up, stand erect, take the bull by the horn
at the crack of dawn, milk the cow, shuck that corn

My Destiny

My destiny
I wish to fullfill
Starts with me
Im just trying to be real
Im meant to lead
Be there for those in need
Be the shoulder to cry on
Be there at the crack of dawn
Help those who feel life is done
Be the trusted one
My destiny
is to be the best I could be
for those around me

Mr. and Mrs. Gray-Haired Wonder
You’ve got it going on.
Up at the crack of dawn.
You’ve got lightning…. you’ve got thunder.
Slow life down a little bit
so, you’ll have plenty more of it,
Mr. and Mrs. Gray-Haired Wonder.
