My Wonder Mother

From the crack of dawn to hours of late
She worked tirelessly for her brood of eight
Sweaty and exhausted, waited till everyone ate
Then watered down the curry for her plate

Hi Sara, I always appreciated and loved my mother. However, that love and appreciation got stronger when I became a mother too. Congratulations on your top win. It was well deserved: -) Alexis

Brought a tear to my eye as my aunt used to do a similar thing with her food ensuring other's got fed before her and she had the remains - on one meal she soaked bread in gravy to make it look like she had meat. Good luck in the contest:-) hugs Jan xx
