Anger is a malicious and harmful counselor that one its advice had better to ignore!

The dream is the best

I am paid to Listen

A counselor, I am paid to listen to people
I hear what I want though
Filtering out all the rest of the junk
Plotting a poem around the good stuff

The Counselor

Fear

is our worst counselor

for

it strengthens our enemies

while

weakens our resolve!

Comparing the Silence and the Noise

Silence is, a noble
        lifetime counselor...
        That conduct us to elaborate...
         Noise ,
         Is a braggart that
         it just annoys... !

Marriage Counsellor

One day
I was very disappointed when I went to visit the marriage counselor
Only to find him hitting his wife with a frying pan
He won't see heaven because of violence!

How Enthusiastic Would You Be

How enthusiastic would you be
If you agreed to take a student teacher
And she immediately said she never wants to teach
She wants to be a school counselor?
That enthusiastic, huh?

Patience

Patience, my illustrious friend, is a wise counselor, a virtue sublime

That allows us to reap the fruits of our labor, just at the right time

The Window Remains Open When

I can win your heart if my words ring true.
I can be your rock now and forever,
when you need to talk.
I can be a good counselor who listens well,
and only imparts wisdom for consideration.
I receive love from the Father,
and don't need it from another.

Truth Be Told

It's high time you listen
To the things I have to say
You may think that you are smarter
But I'll tell you anyway
Truth be told
There is a God who is so bold
He's great and mighty that is true
He is the Father of our nation
Wonderful Counselor for me and you

A Note, From My Desk

Sir,

With all
My due
Respect,

Don’t curse him
Into the sea,

You might want first
To know his will,
He, who gave you all,

For you, my son
To be
On that fine leathered chair—

0r else,
You ages, for nothing!

Your
Guidance
Counselor,

A father.

creativity is my strongest suit

creativity is my strongest suit
I have many talents,
this is my all-time favorite of them all

I am a cartoonist,
a painter, a poet, an author
creativity has aided me in every endeavor

I’m led by this character trait every day
in my job as an elementary school counselor

My Blood Runs Cold

The lunchroom at a grade school
My blood runs cold imagining being asked
To dive in there and try to be recognized
As an adult
I am the school counselor
Not the principal
I do not “do” lunchrooms
The only job I would have more difficulty mastering
Would be school bus driver.

Shj - a Prayer of Devotion

Dear Sacred Heart of Jesus,
You are my Hope. In You I trust.
You are the Light of my day,
my Comfort in the night,
the Counselor of my heart,
the Strength of my will,
the Salvation of my soul.
Please, hear my prayers,
and make my heart like yours. Amen.

I Am Not a Magician

I love it when they carry them in kicking and screaming
Plunk them down and then leave
me alone with them

I am not a candy bar
I am not a piece of gum
I am not a birthday cake
I am not a magician
Sometimes I get frustrated

Because they think I can handle it
Even if I can
is it fair that
I always have to?

abc fun

Bitter bitty Betty bullied brute Billy
Choosing caustic comments, some so silly
Disgusted, divorced Danny deemed her a dilly.
Eventually evading Ernest, Eddie, Elyse and Elly
Forever forcing Freddie into fashion frenzy frilly.
Gathering grave grievances, grazing grief counselor, Gilly.
Harvesting heavy handed horrors, hampering Billy.

A TRIBUTE TO WOMEN AND ALL THE HATS THE WEAR

Today a tribute to women…to women everywhere
A simple acknowledgment of all the hats you wear…

And men…if you hadn’t thought of this before…
A little something to make you think:

A mother, a secretary, a teacher
a chauffeur, a maid, a counselor
a cook and a cleaner walk into a bar….

And then she sits down and orders a drink.

I Could Be Working

I could be working. They pay me enough.
But I am on vacation a few weeks ahead of the others.
You see, I am the school counselor.
No one knows what I do.
I usually work.
Not today.
Today is all about me.
As was yesterday and the day before.
It takes all of my energy to do lunch duty.
That is enough.
It is all I can give.
I have nothing else.
