Saint Patrick's Day Feast
Americans eat the strangest things
corned beef and cabbage, green beer and wings
instead have Irish Fry
and Apple Tart Pie
with Potato Chip Sandwich, truth rings...

Jewish Limerick
This man in Brooklyn named Isadore,
some big sandwiches he would adore.
Corned beef and pastrami,
and kosher salami.
He can’t fit in his clothes anymore.
Who says a limerick has to be Irish?...

It's Green - For Contest
It’s Green – for contest
The young lad without tissues was fraught
his red nose running fast – never caught
his sleeve turning obscene
with St. Patrick’s day green
corned beef and cabbage it’s not.

Dippy Don'T Drippy When the Bread Is Toasted
Butter 12 slices of potatoes bread
With a garlic butter
Fry bread one side until brown
On the fried side
One slice of swiss cheese
Place one tablespoon of honey mambo and saurkrut
Layer five to seven prices of corned beef
Or four roast beef and four corned beef
Top with swiss and grill until done.
Serve with a beer, ginger ale and lemon, with a spot of whiskey and sugar....

Bio
Prior to the Afterlife
The ceiling sparkled;
I saw the big dipper, then the little one.
The painters needed a bigger tip for their creative execution.
Without a warning to prepare, a requiem played.
The symphony corned all aspects of a so-called classic; muffled screams, vulgar tongues and your tears –
Silence doesn’t come fast and
I begged for forgiveness and solidarity whilst connecting the dots of Orion.

Let the Darkness Flow
Parade in the streets, eat corned beef,
And let the darkness flow.
St. James’s Gate is the birthplace.
Let the darkness flow.
Grand day for grazing, life’s amazing.
So let the darkness flow.
Jump in a reel or fiddle a jig.
Then let the darkness flow.
Drive out the snakes, embrace the blarney.
Letting the darkness flow.
It may be the day for wearing the green,
But let the darkness flow!

Sandwich
O say can you see
those mayo layered morsels,
sour kraut or sweet hams,
the corned beef and dill pickles,
bread fed by rivers of flavor!
Lettuce praise diner and deli,
the relish and aroma between
hungry eyes and belly.
Lord who made
the pork and beef,
the sandwich maker
and baker.
for all delectable sandwiches
imagined by the dawns early light,
yea, from sea to shining sea
we thank thee.

March Or a Hare's Breath From Reality.
Last roar of the feline, snarling frigid and grim,
Bright colors in closets reemerge, crisp and trim.
Indulge in some corned beef, a mug of green beer,
The diamond gets busy for the grand game is here.
The swallows arrive once again, don't you fret,
If he makes this foul shot, the Final Four's set!
But before you begin the next month with your fibs,
Be aware of that knife they might stick in your ribs!...

Cold Pizza Topped-Off With Spam
All day Franco-American spaghetti-suckers
do not make connoisseurs' lips pucker
Neither do grilled spiders and a side of beans
appeal to kings or to queens
When looking to make a culinary splash
never serve reheated corned-beef hash
And even if you're in a real time jam
fuggetabout cold pizza topped-off with spam
Just stick to the basics, you'll surely succeed
~ A dozen raw eggs afloat in seaweed...

Whilst Me Eyes Still Awake
Me eyes growing tired...
From watching sad news
So I laid on me couch...
And I kicked off me shoes
Ate corned beef and cabbage...
With potatoes and carrots
Had two shots of Irish whiskey
After watching "News- Parrots"
Repeating the same stuff...
'Bout COV-19
So I turned off me TV...
And undressed me green
'Fore my eyes finally close...
Got me one thing to say
Whilst me eyes still awake...
"Happy St. Patrick's Day"...

Unskilled Manual Labor
Prospective employers can be difficult to convince.
Especially if they only seek applicants with experience.
A gas station proprietor looks like a horse’s ass
when he seeks experienced persons to pump gas.
To make corned beef sandwiches, one needs two years experience?
There is an employer that doesn’t seem to have any sense.
A job seeker’s hopes can easily be killed
if that’s what it takes for manual labor positions to be filled.

Irish Grandma's Dream of Heaven
When I get to heaven it will be St. Patrick’s Day
There will be a lassie there playing a harp merry and gay.
She will be wearing Irish colors, and there will be corned beef.
When I finally die of this cancer, it will also be a big relief.
But don’t angels wear white or pastels? Her grandchild asked.
There will be cabbage and shepherd’s pie, and ale in a flask.
Grandma was in her own world now, dreaming of a better time.
When she could taste Irish soda bread without standing in line....
