False Hope
You smile.
You wave.
It's false hope,
You gave.

I loved.
I hoped.
You rejected.
I coped.

My heart.
My soul.
Is jaded
You know.

(From)
You're smile.
You're wave.
The false hope
You gave....

And nothing turned out the way that I'd hoped.
All of my choices weren't mine, so it seemed.
But all the disappointments with which I have coped
made me better and stronger and somehow redeemed.
Though I'd not be this person if it had turned out like I dreamed.

My Mum Isn'T Useless!!
!7 Years she has coped with us on her own
You and Nan struggle for a week even with just one of us

You bastad if any one is useless its you

Don't you dare speak about my mum like that again
You will regret it!

How could you say that?
I hate you even more now

If anyone is useless then it's you
without Nan you'd be nothing

To me you are nothing
You're such a prick

Don't you ever say that about my mum again
You got that? Good...

Deserve Better
I don't know
why I stayed
when I knew I deserved better.
You made me feel
as though
I was overreacting,
and selfish.
You said I don't drown
in an ocean
I stick my face in a
puddle.
You say the waves that crash
into me
are only cars
driving over puddles.
You told me I was faking it.
I believed you
and coped
with alcohol and drugs.
I got rid of you.
I still feel like I'm
faking,
overreacting,
lying,
like I don't deserve better....

Old Ester
She takes in strays that no one wants;
the house is overrun with cats;
she feeds them scraps - it's all she has -
but some will hunt and feast on rats.

Her husband left, she lost her job -
she coped. So many years alone,
the cats her only friends (although,
you never hear Old Ester moan).

They say she's crazy, or a witch;
the children run, the locals hide.
She doesn't speak and hobbles by:
a sad old lady, misty-eyed...

for Line's Crazy Cat Lady contest...

The Last Walk Together

Shrouds cast purposed a dire malaise,
inscribed plaudits hallow tombstones,
absorbing bores coped brimmed blase,
a raised veil, e'er wet-eyes stream blued,
stays balanced, shifted acquiesce,
resume pace, neglectful of mood,
umbrae molds clear, a mien shone glit,
poised calm prosed a pious meek speech,
laid wreaths, last steps rounds a life flit.

Depth of My Loneliness
Depth of my loneliness
can you measure?
I know its difficult
Amid near one, amid plenty
It is difficult!
Last when we met
I remember it was seventh season
In that pain was the cause
See the irony, it was remedy even!
In life it takes no time
Appeared near thing, a distance reality!
See its other facet
Amid the turmoil, it has coped
To stay in
Life
in the depth of my loneliness
The voice I hear
Its of bygone days, yet it lingers
Is it you?
Is it me?
Who is the victim?...

Super Hero Woes
It was too good to be true
Me and you that is
And every hi gave me hope knowing goodbye was all she wrote
Her stories never led to a happy ending
Because broken pieces was the way she coped
Fantasizing about the idea of an happy ending but never for herself
I wanted to be the hero but she was not ready to be saved
Mentally she knew what had to be done but physically she went the other way
As the right path and Her Mr. Right continued to wait
p.s. yet another day I hung up my cape…...
