The Story of My Life

And nothing turned out the way that I'd hoped.
All of my choices weren't mine, so it seemed.
But all the disappointments with which I have coped
made me better and stronger and somehow redeemed.
Though I'd not be this person if it had turned out like I dreamed.

Francine, you eloquently explain a facet of life many of us share. Hopefully, you made the best out of what opportunities presented themselves. Finally, I hope you have the opportunity to be the person you want to be every day in this very short life of ours. I will mark this as a favorite since it is so packed with wisdom. This also makes me smile!!

Dear Francine ~ sometimes surprises turn out for the best... we never know. I hope you'll get a turn to make the decisions you want in the very near future ~ never too late they say.

Gosh. It seems like ages since I have seen you here. This is a good one and it reminded me so much of my own life. Congrats. Thanks for entering.
