Trip Before a Fall

If you’re conceited and seen as vain;
believe you can’t lose, but only gain,
then the wisest will say,
that if all comes your way,
then you just might be in the wrong lane.

Conceited Waves Wash Over the Shore

conceited waves
wash over the
modest shores
destroying the

Your Success

Forever forgotten,
Never again to be mistreated.
Casted out of life,
Permanently deleted.
Torturous decisions made,
Can see just how conceited.
Left to be with another,
Has remarkably succeeded.

Trump Constantly Thinks

Trump Constantly Thinks

Trump Constantly thinks he can be conceited,
Indicated in the things that he has tweeted;
Total disregard;
Making things hard;
Did complain after bed was double sheeted.

A Negative Aura Exudes From Within

a negative aura
exudes from within
a standoffish shell
of arrogance
floating away
on a swelled headed
hot air balloon ride
into the conceited skies
far and wide to never
grace the humbled town again

Premium Member Pretension

I am on the stage with masked faces
who play conceited life drama.
Smiles contoured by practiced act,
camouflaged pretension
I see through fake charm,

Verbal Abuser

She's arrogant, vain, conceited and snooty

not to mention offensive, insulting and disrespectful in her duty!

        How she stays on TV

        is a mystery to me

of course, it's her highness, Judge Judy!

Premium Member Conceited Love

What ills you elicit with your mordacious tongue
shackled am I, while you trifle with my love.
You horde my affections with a cartridge of conceit
then loiter in self pity as I, wizened, exit with relief.

As nature hurls its bolts at
Whatever stands taller than anything else, and brings it to the ground

In the same way, God humbles all those who are arrogant, conceited,
Presumptuous, and proud!

There Were Two Homeless, Pity Friends

There were two homeless, pity friends.
Lets called one of them, say so,- "Fred".
One day, "Armani" suit Fred found in the dump,
But Fred was not conceited, as I would done.
This means, that not always, a sudden wealth
Corrupted people. Not, at all, always!

Her Knife

Autumn and Winter come to pass
and each thought lingers onto the last
a meaning hidden or implied through life
but none so sharp as her jagged knife

a stroke to the heart was she needed
to cut from me so harsh and conceited
a wound so cold no love warm
just a cut to mend and mourn

Number 3999 Horn Limerick

Heard that their egos had been in search
Of a particular as well as peculiar church;
For those conceited;
Many times tweeted;
Are looking for place for our egos to perch.

There has to be a place for my Horn humor
somewhere. Mighty Number 4,000 is now
in the making.

A fly on the wall

A fly on the wall can surely see
The blatant display of idiocy
The lies that you spread, disguised as a truth
An unshakeable stance, in spite of the proof
Conceited, inflated in your own regard
Pathetically pompous; a view to discard
You are not smart, or true to your word
Just a big mouth on legs, completely absurd!!

Premium Member The Killer Shark

The Killer Shark~so conceited,he.
Wants every part of the sea, his to be!
Each human, each acqautic plant. “Mine”
Destruction, dearth to him, just shine!

His abundant teeth gleam in the sum.
The greedy shark,murdering everyone.
Theft of life, fulfill his vainglorious days.
The seas flush with a dark,crimson haze.

Who Is Your Friend

There are ones who are the best
There are ones who could have cared less
There are ones who are conceited
There are ones that are needed

So with whom will you hang?
Who will share your friendship slang?
Who will go to the movies with you?
Who will help you through and through?

So make sure you know who’s your true friend,
And those that just pretend

Vanity Or Not?

Hidden behind those mirrors
Peeking for a glimpse
Who says there for whims?
Some many say it conceited
Others my feel cheated
But whatever the truth
Vanity is everyone’s suit
We all like praise in one form or another
So don’t act so bothered and smothered with shock
Go ahead take a look
admire yourself
If you don’t blow your own horn
Neither will anyone else
