Sapience

Sage is the one
             that comprehends
             his limits
             and recognizes
             those of others...

The
wise understands life as the mystery that is yet
to be revealed

The

to be observed

Blessed Be the One Who Reads What I Write

When I write,
life becomes a party...
 I bless that one
that my verse comments.
Blessed is the eye that reads
my poetry, and study it...
Blessed is the being that
 comprehends my deep inside,
 scans my soul... !

not merely willing but rather eager
to allocate time to hold hands
ego comprehends this not
but heart understands

alive in each moment
awareness of Self at rest
seeing all forms as God’s light
soul’s cocooned in heart’s bliss nest

Revelations

The tree will
speak for the wailing
salt. Do not spread
it on the dark sheet.

*

I invoke the pain,
on the course paper.
It starts raining
outside.

*

A transgender
comprehends her
alphabet.
A triangle was incomplete.

Premium Member Death Memory-

I lay down my memory of you; And yet my heart still pumps through; My veins remain flowing red; My eyes see you in your coffins bed; Now how do I take this sorrow; My mind comprehends this notta?

Premium Member A Question of Faith

How
can a
poet, one
who comprehends
the compulsion to
create; who mirrors grace
with the grace of words, lack faith?
The fact I would even need to
ask this question is, for me, more a
mystery than the existence of God.

He

I became a strange person
No one comprehends
I became a beacon
No one feel my sympathy
Except He!
He who never lose a smile
He who see beauty in every breath
He who mend the hole of the heart
He who walks up to me and embrace my flaws
He! He!! He's my friend
The perfect friend
Happy Birthday friend
Flutter like the dove
And enter the ocean of eternal happiness

Her Wisdom

She is very careful about what she writes
Because she has found that
Although something is not true today
It may be true tomorrow
She knows, she knows without having learnt
Her simplicity comprehends the secret that
So-called intellectuals have altered
Her wonderful mind makes her light as a butterfly
Giving her different versions of truth
Which seduce, ease, comfort and survive

Lost and Alone

Abyss in thought with anguish
Tormenting his mind as he sits
With bitterness and great pain
Ageing without companionship

His only warmth is a warm fire
No one comprehends his ordeal
Compassion forgotten and alone
As darkness looms he wanders

No tracks or trail of blood found
A knock at door was his only hope
We found Scrappy he was digging
In Mrs. Tumble Weeds trash!

Worry

From the time a child is born, you are
Besieged with such a flurry
Of sensations that you never knew,
The main one being worry.

Of course, there’s love and yes, it feels
As deep as any ocean,
But worry reigns as king and trumps
That sweetest of emotion.

There’s nothing to prepare you
But each parent comprehends
That, surprisingly, this worry
For an offspring never ends.

Watching Olympic Figure Skating

The skaters glide across the ice,
Perform a triple axel, twice!
But sometimes fall and pay the price;
I don’t know how they do it.

For if a slip is somehow made,
Perhaps by tripping on a blade,
A beaming face is still displayed
As if they never knew it.

Until the point the music ends
When each performer comprehends
He’ll earn no medal dividends
Because he somehow blew it.

Premium Member Poetry and Reality

Poetry:
Sees the unseen
Hears the unheard
Comprehends the incomprehensible

Praises our feelings
Exalts our love
Glorifies our God

Describes nature
Expresses beauty
Gives wings to inspiration

Poetry,
The heavenly language
That
The devotees of the Muses use
For
To paint reality as our Lord meant
Reality to be:
Divine!

World on Fire

I do not want to set the world on fire,
this world has always been burning,
you cannot add flame
when flame is all there is.

That which made this fire
sees the world consume itself
through a devouring lens.

That which watches, comprehends not
that it is the mind, the human mind,
that is the Firestarter,

only those who feed the fire
can quench this blind,
and long enduring,
burning.

Premium Member Deafened Art

you can't break what's already broken nor forsake what's been forsaken

every love song is a ghost story ~ when velvet skies dimmed our glory

no one really comprehends ~ how deep into the core it descends

cloaked with invincible clouds , afraid to let tear-stained ink pour and set

silenced tongues sing in solitude ~ knitting metaphors misunderstood

hushed voices echo amidst smoky lungs ~ tainted through deafened art

Premium Member one second before creation :maybe:

if mankind ever comprehends everything ~ there will be nothing left

sighs god to satan i’ll be outed ~ and you can wave goodbye to theft

well i’m a psychopath smirked satan ~ so exempt from feeling bereft

yeah your greatest weakness said god ~ unable to bear genuine heft

and so creation burst forth ~ perfectly poised from that opening cleft

it simply had to turn out this way ~ no matter how f#cked up or deft

Premium Member To Believe In the Eternal Holy Spirit

One cannot believe in Jesus or Father Christ without sharing in his Spirit
It is the Eternal Holy Spirit who reveals to men who Jesus is
For”no one can say ‘Jesus is Lord’ except the Eternal Holy Spirit
Who searches everything
Even the depths of Eternal God…
No one comprehends the thoughts of Eternal God
Except the spirit of Eternal God
Only Eternal God knows Eternal God completely
We believe in the Eternal Holy Spirit because He is Eternal God

Quicksilver

darkness into darkness forms,
atoms swirl, congeal, and swarm,
the dark gets darker, blacker still,
folds in upon itself at will

a fluid, liquid, shifting shape,
a mass upon which shadows drape,
the black gets denser by degrees,
straining eyes attempt to see

deep, instinctive, primal fear
comprehends that evil's near,
slightly canine, haunches low,
it glides the way quicksilver flows

foundations cracked, beliefs erased,
just emptiness to take its place

I Love You

there's power in "I Love You,"
the heart just feels and knows,
no matter what you say or do,
the heart will not let go,
in my heart i speak it,
without words i understand,
i can look into your eyes,
and my heart just comprehends,
all you know, all you feel,
compassion spoke alike,
and what resides at the tip of my tongue,
to give you all of your life,
but spoken you won't believe me,
truly if you only knew,
the heart in which you stumbled upon,
the heart you wish you knew

Man Can'T Live By Bread Alone

M-an can't live by bread alone,
Y-es, this is truly so;
L-yrics one comprehends,
E-rasing the pain and sorrow.
N-ever can man live by bread alone, he aprreciates the art;
E-ach picture on the wall is painted by the heart.

M-an can't live by bread alone,
A-s he listens to the music;
G-reat songs soothe the soul,
S-weet sound is fantastic.
A-im for the utmost need
D-ay six October morn;
I-t's the true message of God,
A-s man can't live by bread alone.

Kicked

Why does no one understand,
When issues attack the sweetest,
You see a hitchhiker lone,
Know they've walked with turmoil.
May it be skewed idealism,
Or unexplainable passion,
Seems a person can get caught up,
In more than one fashion.
Who here comprehends,
When the innocent get kicked,
The traveling hearts divine the throne,
But do they feel that royal?
Insurmountable greed,
Toward the one who sheds some light,
Listen to what the Hiker says,
And everything will be alright.
