Nature Feels

Golden leaves
Good senses
Not color blind.

Beauty blend
Green meadows
Crispy air.

Blue sky
Marine life
Flowers field.

Stockton

There was a color blind man from Stockton
Who had great trouble putting his socks on
Which ones match
Head he'd scratch
Red and green confused this Anglo Saxon.

My darling man is quite the catch
Except when his two socks don't match.
I have known him to
Wear black with bright blue
Or colors like a garden patch.

Premium Member Color-Blind No More

I have a dream
  intoned Reverend King
So many folks then
  smiled and beamed

But things are no more
  what they once seemed
a color-blind society's
  no longer esteemed

An Assessment of Black Or Am I Color Blind

Shiny black patten leather shoes,
A new baby's eyes,
Dark moving clouds,
Storm theatening skies...
Sometimes my daddy's mood,
Sometime my attitude,
Hey!
That's not black,
It's the blues!

Behind the center stage,
beyond vision's focus,
blurry, peripheral
beauty goes unnoticed,
blue as comfort's skyline
before the color blind...

Army Life

far from home
away from love
you left me
sad and weak
waiting, watching,
hoping, praying,
will i see you again?
life is empty
color of black
i hate the dark
i am color blind
come back to me
show my the rainbow

Premium Member Young Emerald Tree Boa

they must think I am color-blind or color-unaware
but I am aware, because I am an artist.
I am orange with black and silver markings.
how dare they call me a young emerald tree boa
what part of me is emerald? I ask defiantly.

Greener Grass

Okay here’s a question
You’re three or four years old
and you’re color blind
How does any one know?
That color you see is green
But they told you it was red
So the top light is what color?
Which means stop
And the bottom color is?

Imagine

Imagine
If we all had respect for each other
If we all were color blind
If we all tried to understand
 If we all listened
 If we all cared
What this town, this state, this country, this world
 could hold for us all
Just Imagine

Color Blind

I look in the mirror to see I'm white
I think that it is such a pretty sight,
I stand proud as a peacock
then see we don't have a lock...
All of the world's colors gives it its might!

Bright Sun Golden Silhouettes Trees' uplifted arms Shines against sky's gray whispy clouds Seems to paint fluorescent light against clouds at center Contemplating are shapes and a lot of gray what one who is color blind sees most morns

Color Blind

Color blind
Two little boys are playing in the mud.
Both covered from head to toe.
They play as friends with just the thought of mud.
When they finished they dumped water on their heads.
One of the boys look at the other and said" your mud didn't come off"

Red Fish

Red fish? Blue fish?
Color blindness?
Dr. Seuss was at his finest
Lorax orange or Grinch lime green
And all the colors in between
Creatures of all kind of hues
Teaching us the DON'Ts and DOs
For in his world you always find
Every thing is color blind

Like light refracted through a prism,
    Continuous, yet some see schism.
The loudest voices, incomplete;
    Ironic, for they’re not discrete.

November

Trees lose their parched lips--
shriveled, cracked and bleeding.
Leaving behind gentle kisses on frozen ground.
Rich hues of autumn
but I'm left me color blind.
On this pitch dark afternoon,
I feel my way across a dying city,
climb into bed, and sleep.

I dream of sunlight.

Notes

when the sea surged get angry
how is the walk on the beach
when the executioner put the rope around your neck
you must be ready

it does not matter emerged rainbow
for color blind
to extend the studded board
not some danger
if you find the appropriate key
do not force the door

notes on hanging plate

People

I've always worked to unveil my true self,
But some people are blind,
It’s like describing the rainbow itself,
To someone who is color blind.

Some folks are worth leaving far behind,
Neither linger nor waste your time;
They're toxic, as they've always tried,
To injure you, to keep you from your climb.

Color Blindness

Oh, you are so wise
judging with your eyes
what you see
merely a figure
something to despise.

Oh, you are so sympathetic
kind to those who seem pathetic
If you could look beyond skin
you'd see a soul free of sin.

Oh, you are so kind
living with closed eyes
judging all mankind
If only we were color blind.

All that was alluring adorned boulevards

‘Twas at the crossroads I became color blind

By pillars of dolor I am marred

All that was alluring adorned boulevards

Devoured within muteness forlorn I whine

Could such sequences be signs?

All that was alluring adorned boulevards

‘Twas at the crossroads I became color blind

"i think thus i am"
thoughts...they're just passage of time...
a non existent

self that's of the world
as the world is of the self...
both just rationale

not truth but true...yes
there's awareness or world thought...
clear or color blind

appreciation
music love freedom...let go
"i think thus i am"

Purple Relapse

She paints everything purple when she's high
Violet clocks and lavender shelves get her by
He smiles, wishing the clock could rewind
He hates the drugs, at least he's color blind
She hates being like this
She covers her room in amethyst
She knows he sees her addiction is back
It's evident as her world is splattered in lilac
