Fantasy Baseball
Tinker Evers and Chance
their double play romance

Ty Cobb terror on bases
also with many faces

if Babe Ruth played today
can't imagine his pay

a D-H for sure
his homeruns were pure

baseball and fantasy
for me it is easy

baseball's my desire
my juices on fire...

Moody's Groove
rough lumber
and 32 inches of
concrete stabilized cobb
with interior and siding
and rough lumber ends
to make the interior
look like a log cabin
a overlapping roof
with windows centered
16 inches inside
the
rough lumbered walls
a rustic modern
living area
to sheild the
persons from the
ruffs of winter
and the harsh heat
of sumer....

Frolic Through a Memory
many have lost sight..
>love as a law, forgotten.
perception of depth askew..

in search of purpose,
truth viewed relative to goal.
>fun submerged in past...
adolescence falls behind,
as figures make time to pass...

imagination spread thin,
over minds chasing schedules.
conversation lost, with haste,
>poetry, frames the moments.

My Answer To Dakarai Cobb
Yes we are,
we are the poets of today
and tomorrow,
and we shall be forever.
Let them know that we are just writers
as our grand parents who had the talent we have!
Yes we are,
we are here to educate people
who knows how to read and write,
and those who love what we say and write.
Let them know that me and you,
and those of ours we are just poets.
They have to know what we are,
not to quote us wrong the poets of today
and those of tomorrow....

Cancer
My shell,
My defense,
My only comfort,
I, that is, my true being,
My consciousness,
My essence,
Simply, as it is my nature, tread not beyond the shield,
My armor is bound to me along with misleading expressions,
The walls, in which, my thoughts remain,
My mask conceals, contains, deceives,
My fortress,
Behind both latch and lock,
Cast without call for hinge, nor key,
My shell.
