music of the spheres
imbibed by resonation ~
heart lotus opens
ripples in the void convey
the sound of one hand clapping
loud thunder clapping
streaks of lightning near plunging
rose petals sighing

A Truth
Haiku: by Tom

While not disturbing;
one clapping hand, simply put,
is just fanning air.
old time religion
knee slapping hand clapping songs
the old rugged cross
when the saints came marching in
the best kind of praise indeed
The breeze howls by,
The thunder's clapping booms
As the cloud becomes darker,
Children dances here and there
It another blessing from above.
for his affecting music
Beethoven did not hear applause
but he felt enthusiastic clapping hands
PS Beethoven was deaf since childhood
Like returning to a place in a dream:
sound of one hand clapping:
the mottled butterfly haphazardly flits
into the welcoming Light of day.
Just because
they are clapping for you
Does never mean
They really like you.
Remember:-
With the eerie sound
of the same clap
A mosquito dies.
crack of thunder beach
clashing of hot and cold fronts
clapping erasers
splashing of dust molecules
summer school is in session
Dead babies by thousands
clapping hands, dancing feet
starvation of the masses
genocide repeats
I own a dictionary
and a map printed in 1947
There once was a fellow named Kotter
Who once did an act with an otter
While clapping his fins
He juggled several rings
And Kotter paid his otter
Like he oughta
henrietta’s hippo had a habit
hopping happily in a tutu like a rabbit
with a twirl and a spin
she’d giggle and grin
leaving the crowd clapping madly out of habit
One hand clapping causes tornados
On the northernmost slopes of Kilauea
Houses are destroyed
Many unemployed
But stocks were up for red ripe tomatoes
clapping their wing
with
effortless grace
the
seamless flight
of
the
black butterfly
spiraling
through
the
baritone blue sky
let
us
walk by fath
and
not by sight
Happy
as a child
Clapping
his hands
Happy
as a child
two feet
I stand
Happy
as a child
Playing
in the
sand
Happy
as a child
is where
I am

CIRCUS
Exiled from native homes
Slave creatures imprisoned,
Forced to do tricks,
Tightrope lions, clapping seals.
Elixir of grotesque clown disguises
Drab animal lives.
In Due Time
The Silent Majority will fall prey to the sound of “one hand clapping”.

Rise
Hermit
Feel the throb
Silent thunder
Amplified by soma nectar dropping
Inner void of silence enlivening
One hand clapping
As bliss peaks

stay in with a friend
or go out nodoudt
to city street
where there a music beat
under the blinking lights
at midnight
join the them clapping loud
be ther with all
WATCH THE BALL FALL
While doing sit-ups,
My big, arrogant brother stomps on my feet
“That burns my feet, bro!!”
While in recital,
My oldest brother motions to stop clapping
…My hands are red, bro…
Heartbeat
Like clapping hands, meeting in chant
Sturdy
The legs carrying an empty head
Dropped
The mic by nervous hands
Take a bow you African children
Your narrative is now yours....
Can't keep up, lims are flowing like water
Should be proud but not as much as I oughter
They flow with such ease
Like magic if you please
Thank you so much for clapping your applauders
Paint in your heart
the colors symphonic
Images dancing
each note brushed with fire
Clapping and cheering
rhythmatic ovations
The prisms last opus

(Septa R5: December, 2023)
Snarky, this one,
Never held a gun,
Yet slivers away
Each day, every way.
Lifting and clapping,
Smiles when napping.
Fortune has it,
Bite after bit.
Hitting the graze,
He kneels and prays.
