My childhood shadow skips along

Flow’rs stunning in a garden fete.
Her sunrays smile in a vast field.

just below the surface.
That dangle down for nourishment
and crack the Earth of Purpose.

Then take the dawn to circle round
what others hope to grow.
While making what comes natural from
the facts remade to sough.

And wander through the gatherings
that other stars will hold.
To take the time to answer them
on other farms of fold....

  an insect scary as a bee
Sister screams, she spots a spider
  but bees are lethal when they bite her...

I cower at bees' buzzing sound
  as they circle round and round
If I try to wave 'em away
  They attack, without delay...

Logic tells me not to cower
  Bees are needed to grow flowers ~
Let reason try another tack

As I sit quietly in my chair
She comes to have a little pet

She first raises her tiny voice

Exactly three times no less no more
Then to my lap where she is bound.

Holding her gently, safe in my arms

                    thump, thump, thumping, on bumpy ground.
                        The pits sparkle, as they spin and whirl,
                         and juicy pink flesh, flashes and twirls;
