Taking a chance on love
Trusting the universe will know what’s best

Guaranteed Money Back...

Stuck. Glued. Skewed.
devoted to devotion
dedicated to dancing
on a string

threw away the safety net
to take the chance on
just
once
more

give me a reason
to be here

Chance

Everyday is a chance.
A chance that we may lose.
Lose love, life and ourselves.
If everyday we take a chance on ourselves.
A chance on love.
This life may be worth life itself.

Trance and Romance Horn Limerick

She held me suspended in a trance,
So we could take a chance on romance
Dancing was not one of my best talents,
And in the end I had lost my balance
Stepped on her toes when we did dance.

Could You Take a Chance

COULD YOU TAKE A CHANCE?
If you would take a chance on me And trust me to be true to you, I’d never let you down you’d see. If you would take a chance on me My love would always constant be. I’d never look for pastures new If you would take a chance on me And trust me to be true to you,

A Bit of Me

A bit of me dies everytime,
when I miss a chance on you,
A bit of me gets more hesitant everytime,
when I thought of it and relate it to you,
I think to ask you about it,
But my bad luck, I never get a chance to do so.
It's indeed my own woven dungeon
and
How stupid of me to believe that you know the reason!

Chances

I look at you and I look at me
I see the clouds that come between

This night is cheap, but the air is free
Lets breathe deep as we just in this sea

Lets take a chance on each other now
All the other chances have been made with a frown

We can do this, I promis you
Lets take a chance, it's the only thing left to do

Last Chance To Dance

Let's make tonight a very special night
Get on a flight
Enjoy the sights
Of the world
For one night only
It's just you and me
On our way to Italy
To take this last chance to dance
Under the moon under the stars
I want to be wherever you are
Let's take this chance on this
Special romance
This may be our last chance to
Dance

Premium Member Love Or Bust

I’d rather lead a wagon train over
Donner Pass in the heart of cold winter
than take a chance on cherubic Cupid’s
insipid arrow; does X really mark
the spot, and is the promise of true love
such a treasure?

A lifetime of love letters burns easy
in the fires of infidelity,
and the discovery of trickery
will cause a lass to never again say
it’s love or bust!

Love

Love can be sweet calm and tender. Love can be a heart in a Blinder. Love can be joy. Love
can be hate or the sweet kiss on a second date. Love can be hell. Love can be haven or a
small date at seven eleven. Above all others love can hover and float to the sky or lave
you were you want die. so hold fast let love bloom don't take the chance on letting it be
your doom!

Open Letter To the World

The mysteries of life remain
Day after day
Our belief in fate
Our belief in nothing

There are no reasons
For not being true to yourselves
The world can never change
Without your original creative thoughts and actions

Take a chance on yourselves
Approach a deep-rooted mystery
With an open mind
You just might find
That you are holding the key to a revelation

Defiant Enigma

I long to feel her hand in mine again
To touch her skin and feel my heart beat thrill
As senses ignore the watery chill
While slowly walking through the summer’s rain
For love has grown from depths of darkest pain
Far gentler than any sedating pill
Is the hand that leads me to climb this hill
To take a chance on loving once again.
Mystery beyond the horizon lies
As history destiny now defies

Searching

Is there no one out there
for me I feel I'll be single
for life I was broken once
and it seems to me nobody
wants to take a chance on
damaged goods I can't blame
them I just want the warmth
of love in my life I'm tired of
meaningless relationships I
need a woman in it for the
long haul not someone who
gets cold feet and leaves me
to stand alone hopefully there's
still one out there for me but
who knows

Romance and Futility At the Grid Iron

These feet and hands move with pride

While frozen minds reside in stations

The gurgle of romance catapults

Limp eyes fortunate to be blind

Setting tables, memories on the wing

Eclipsed lung of chain linked usury

Chance on the balcony flips greater pockets still

Silver rings on the oven to match electricity

Now the grid iron flashes through

Beating heat to patronize tongues

The alphabet of spacial sense

Time barricades these permanent exits

Premium Member Private Revelation

Abortion is supposed to be good
The babies are safe in heaven
The baby Angel told me
Tell the priest that the babies are safe in heaven

God wants to give women
Chance, on the left ear
Choice, on the right ear
To save themselves
After, saw my previous tragic car accident

Spiritual director said
It was the turning point of my life
Need to see Archbishop Cordileone
Just tell him my private revelation
Then he’ll do the work

Stale Trick

The first door I believed in boasted of the things it had, and I didn't.

The second one only wanted to show me how much time I had spent in a Polaroid.

Another door was nice to me but the nuts were badly screwed.

The bravest move was taking a chance on each door.

That any one of them could have been it.

And every door was knocked.

The next door might welcome me with the brightest smile.

But I just might have been the only one there to knock.

Premium Member A Smile and Hello

Home is in the village then?
A stranger queried of when:
We met on a roadside bend.
Two men walking, who did tend,
To chance on becoming friends.

Visiting from the South you say?
Headed over yonder way?
Let me tell you of this place.
Over there lives Lady Grace.
We move on at quickened pace.

Hikers on a country road,
Seeking neither food nor gold.
This journeys wealth did unfold,
In the tales that we’ve since told.
Old friends who met on a road:

Love Whispered

My love whispered in your ear
You no longer need to fear
Take a chance on me and step out
Walk away from fear and doubt

Melt into my loving arms
Safe from fears and harms
Together we face all that come
For this love makes us one

Your love whispered in my ear
As love draws me near
This is my love come true
For I need your love too

Melt into your loving arms
Falling for your passionate charms
Together we face all that come
For this love makes us one

Take a chance with my heart
Give me a chance to hold you
Let me hold you with these holy hands
Take a chance to love me from within
Give me a chance to show you love
Let my feelings walk beside you
Let my feelings moves you to ecstasy
Take a chance on me with your emotions
Make my life the elution of unforeseen desires
Wake me up like an infant longing for a sweet touch
Take a chance to walk with me in the fields of hardship
Make me the king of your palace

The source of love
The vulnerability of hate
The agreeable organ
The organ of fierce debate
The freedom to choose
The Handcuff of Fate
The Lost
The Found
The Forward
The Turned Around
The All
The Nothing
The First Class
The Second Rate
The generous mate
The selfish ingrate.

and the heart is weak
the heart is brazen
and the heart is meek --

needy enough, fond nature
enough, to take a baseless
chance on love in advance)

Premium Member An Orchid For My Rose

Your eyes lead me to the Rose
that within your heart your soul,
yet it is the orchid chose
that leads me here, a mind stole
in dreams of the perfect goal.

Now lost am I to you Rose
a loser in mortal shame,
inept another I chose
took a chance on just a name
because life said ‘one of fame.’

Alas this lesson I learn
it’s not how one sees the frame
the truth within this I yearn,
for i am the one to blame
for dousing our true love’s flame!

Premium Member Did I

As the New Year approaches, I sit and think
about my life.
Did I do everything that I sat out to do?
Did I attempt to live my very best life?
Did I let my loved ones know how much
I loved them?
Did I dance on a cloud?
Did I dream big?
Did I take a chance on love?
Did I discover new things about me?
Did I let my muse take the wheel
Did I let my ink overflow?
Did I hold my pen with purpose?
Did I let you get a glimpse of the woman
behind the poem?
