Momentous Nostalgia

Beyond a sweet zephyr
     whorled a scent,
something so familiar
   amidst that breeze,
'twas like warm apple pie
   sitting 'pon a windowsill
wafting delectable
   reminiscence of long ago,
children's laughter
   full of caramel & pepper,
petunias, summer rain
      and hot cayenne spice
all delightfully refreshing
    in a blast of fragrant air's
momentously blissed nostalgia

Premium Member Cayenne Pepper

Claiming I’m intense
always a bit uncomfortable;
Yeah, I’m a little bit cayenne,
easily you can taste my punch;
Nothing about me is calm
not enough water to mellow,
every bite the passion is there;

Permeating my eyes, lingering
Eager to jump all over the room
playing with everything around me;
Perfect at causing a sweat
envelope you never letting go;
Raw, intense; yes I am a little cayenne,

My Black Art

I am the One
I bring the fire
Vaporize your body
evident of perspire

I bring the heat
burning more then cayenne
Too dangerous to hold
Keep away from children

I am the lighter
Friction sends a spark
Blow out the flame
Live alone in the dark

I bring you warmth
thaw your numb heart
such sensless perfection
this is my black art

I'll draw you in
Much like a flare
Leave you blinded with joy
A feeling quite rare.

Sequence of winter  icicles
frozen over like popsicles
we are puffed like dropsical

weathering snow we walk into
a fortress named, "Fairies Igloo"
to look for the girl in blue

she, Deity of the forest glen
has silky hair of red cayenne
and chirrs like a lovely wren

its the season of snow and love
as peaceful as a mourning dove
she was sent, from up above .
