Creole Catfish Stew

Chilled white wine
A glass for the chef

Creole seasonings
A meal in a dish
A Southern delight

Chunks of catfish fillets
Corn and lima beans
Simmering till sublime

Gather around
If spicy stew's what you want
Help yourself

Cayenne pepper
Tabasco sauce
There’s even a bit of wine left

It's not a dish for me, but you sure dished up the description wonderfully!

Lolol no. With the way this year has been going thus far I probably wouldn't have any wine leftover!

LOL that's hilarious, FJ. I've never been there so how have I heard of it? Too funny. I'm assuming you're not talking about leftover wine.

Thanks, Caren. Was it the wine or the stew?

As a Southerner I've never had catfish stew and don't like crawfish, but give me crab and shrimp with Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning and I'm satisfied. Not too much tobacco sauce, and don't forget the wine. A fun write, Line.

Ugly looking things, that said I bet they taste delicious. Washed down with wine of course. Good luck Line. Tom.
