Carlos At Woodstock

Watch this Hispanic street punk
Furiously drive home his prayer
Frowning and sweating Latin funk
While the blond hippie shakes down her hair...

Premium Member El Matador

Carlos was a world famous matador

He had suffered a ton of blood and gore

      He'd made lots of dinero

         Tanglin' with old el toro

Carlos retired to be 'bullied' no more

Premium Member Carlos the Cosmonaut Chimp

Carlos clever carnivore, courageous cosmonaut chimp
Tried twice to turn twisters, for he was an incredible imp.
Twisters tossed him toward Pluto, he went up in the air.
Whether he comes back or not, few of us gave a care.

Premium Member Carlos and Hanna

Carlos and Hanna, husband and wife,
your examples taught me about life,
honoring family, marriage, and friends.
Much is lost with your premature ends,
and though it's too late to let you know -
Oh my God, I miss you so.

Strong, Sensitive, Provider, Protector
Loving, Considerate, Sweet as Nectar

The Boy Who Blew Bubbles

Constant chewing, carefree child
Blowing bubbles with a smile
Foaming flavors from his face
Lets you know he loves the taste
Constant chewing, carefree child
Blowing bubbles with a smile
Popping sounds shaking his hips
Carlos, clean your copper lips

Subconscious Mind Song

Dark night, cold rain
you and I standing there
beyond our understanding
the ocean our domain

in front of it we shiver
trying to decipher

Subconscious mind is showing us
the dream has taken over us
what is the meaning of the signs
Have we met in another life?

Love in Madness

Love in madness
love in silence
love in ignorance and blindness

Love in coldness
love in pain
in disappointment and regret

Love insulted
love abused
love that loves even confused

Love forgives
does not forget
love strong condemned to end

I wish I could write poetry
like William Carlos Williams
or Edgar Allen Poe
or Shel Silverstein~

but the sidewalk always ends,
     the raven always flies away,
          and the red wheelbarrow

                         is just a wheelbarrow.

For Carlos Fuentes

What shames death, more than a man who refuses to die once born?
So much so that when death claims, the aim is unknown,
When the frame lies down and the words simmer, who, the winner?
With more life than Death can take; Never blink-
Into earth goes a Man we will unearth life on end!

The Fires Glow

Celestial things massacre time
  with their importance

Like Carlos Santana playing
  ‘Black Magic Woman’

Earthly things embody the moment
 within their transformation

The caterpillar—the butterfly,
the wood before the fires glow

(Villanova Pennsylvania: October, 2016)

The Artificial

So Alluring,
      Bright and green,
Wavy dark and red petals,
       So Triumphant
       Oh How lovely!
Eyes closed,deeply inhaling
     Hoping for that scent...
Oh no! It's the art of man
    A tailor made Rose.
 It can't delight my heart

Kurso sa Batas ang napagtagumpayan

Nagsimulang guro hanggang Pangalawang Pangulo

Isinulong ang Bayanihan at Unahin ang Bayan

Napasigla negosyo, kultura at nasyonalismo.

A Tribute To William Carlos Williams

I ate the rest of the ice cream drumsticks
I’m sorry, but I couldn’t resist
So cold, it melted in my mouth

I played on your computer today
I know you told me not too,
But it was so much fun, sorry

I broke your iPod yesterday
I dropped it into a bucket of water
I feel really bad,
But I got a new high score on doodle jump
