I Wish I Could Write Poetry

I wish I could write poetry
like William Carlos Williams
or Edgar Allen Poe 
or Shel Silverstein~

but the sidewalk always ends,
     the raven always flies away,
          and the red wheelbarrow   
                          
                         is just a wheelbarrow.
