Voters, Beware

Many candidates

      for public office

            who claim to be

            public servants

       oftentimes turn out

to be public serpents.

   "Presidential Prowess"

Romney and Obama, two Presidential candidates
to win the White House, must be too savvy in debates.

The New President

Election day will be here soon, ready for insanity?
Who will be the next President of the USA this year?
All candidates are tough, do you like Romney?
Will Obama win, or leave office in disarray and fear?

Current Presidential Campaign

The current presidential campaign seems asinine
For both candidates if elected promise all will be fine
Each runs down the other
Thus pertinent policy never given gesture
As we the people sip their political strychnine

Premium Member Politicians

When God passed out brains he must have missed them,
These followers in two party system.
If they vote a nay or aye
It's just to block the other guy.
As candidates we should black list them.

MTV

Ludens of Earth.
Sadly, not impressive.
Whoopie cushion.
Dunce hat, class clowns, and thieves.
Breakfast club candidates.
Barbecue with the fam in London.
American Dad at a sweet sixteen party.
Tonight on Daylight, “back to you John.”
“Your kid online.”

Gop Ban

The GOP are at wit's end*
Trump's driving them around the bend
They don't have a choice
With only Trump's voice
Exhausting foul wind from which end?

*GOP presidential candidates are
now prohibited from debating as
only Trump's voice should be heard!

HALLOWEEN POLITICS: A HAIKU TRILOGY

Halloween…coming…
Aping today’s politics:
No treats…just more tricks:-

Offering false treats,
Evil candidates ape ghosts;
Tricking scared voters:-

Halloween precedes
Coming midterm elections;
Voting tricks abound:-

Wonder About Trump

I am beginning to wonder about Trump. Every candidate
should have to take the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality
Inventory (MMPI), Wechsler Bellevue, Stanford Benet,
Miller Analogies and Kuder Interest Test. This would prove
just how normal each one of the candidates are.

A Few

Set goals, time for moving forward.
Out of the comford zone! Release!
Zoom in, accelerate towards
Your goal. Not professional, please.

Goals are related. Use you skills
To your advantage and learn new
Things. Your dream life would give you shrills.
Partner candidates? “Yes, a few”.

Political

The political gain
A four year reign
Legislation denied
The citizen cried

A steady race
Challenges to face
A heated debate
An opponent took the bait

Issues to change
Effecting an age range
Campaign funding
Candidates confronting

Victory impending
For one, campaign is ending

  One is over-senile
    the other over-penile

  One opens our borders
    the other issues loyalty orders

  Our execrable Presidential candidates
    presage a once-great country’s fate

Two utter buffoons America rushes to nominate

Change Scamming

Drowning in ignorance, in streets of blood,
My people have religion but no God.

In every election voters are blind,
They hope on promises, they've lost their mind.

They view candidates as their messiah,
In truth, it is to God they must return!
Stubborn Filipinos.... they never learn.

Today Is Election

Election today in my country,
To elect the king,
The ballot paper is long like ladies hair,
Seventeen candidates in contest,
I have my option of selection,
I have my right of rejection,
I can't make a cross against my rejection,
It means my option,
There is no right mark of option in this election,
The mark for no,cross is my yes option!

Politics--The Joke

in Oz, we don't like political jokes,
Here, they all get elected, folks,
Pollies sell their souls for money,
Their salaries aren't even funny,
Then they get super to retire,
Better candidates we should hire,
Different from our oldies and veterans,
They're on measly financial plans,
Yes, that's why we don't like political jokes,
Here, they all get elected, folks!

Swan and Betel Floating Race

Rabbit vs turtle,
The old running race,
Another race is on the cards-
Swan vs betel,
The floating race,
Betel means winning leaf,
Like the old rabbit in belief,
The finishing point is nearing,
Both Swan and betel in the hope of winning!

(The presidential election in Sri Lanka is to be held on 08.01.2015
The symbols of the two main candidates,Swam and Betel leaf

Republicans Are Really a Rip

Republicans Are Really a Rip (Rest In Peace)

Took a jab at Jeb
Who might be a Johnny Reb
Should he ebb and ebb?

Full of ridicule
Candidates can be a fool
Mind has a loose tool.

Leaving things a wreck
Not playing with a full deck
Running neck and neck.

Down path we were led
Vote for Hilary instead
Hear what she has said.

Premium Member Scary Scenario #11

Most ghouls and goblins will not be seen
After October thirty-one, on Halloween.
But the worst of them I fear will stay
Until November two, Election Day.

If I am to believe all that I hear
Of the candidates, I sadly fear
The choice is either rogue or sinner.
It matters not whom is the winner.

Ten thirty-one should not worry you
The date to fear is eleven two.
