Low wage-slave she suffers
buffoons and jeans stuffers
checking her out at check out.
Though well educated
her love life was fated
to doom for she wed a lout.
So she smiles at the jerks
all lined up where she works
then writes poems to get it out....

Premium Member Two Buffoons
  One is over-senile
    the other over-penile

  One opens our borders
    the other issues loyalty orders

  Our execrable Presidential candidates
    presage a once-great country’s fate

Two utter buffoons America rushes to nominate
~ I think on my ballot I’ll regurgitate

With every word you utter,
there you go you splutter,
thanks to my old ears,
I can hardly hear,
your yelling and ugly,
maybe dear your hungry.

I never argue with buffoons,
they'll waste your afternoons,
I've learned this over the years,
It's good that I can't hear,
so splutter away my dear.

Ode To the Buffoons
I believe it's the inner child in me
that lives through my kids vicariously.

When they settle down for a cartoon
I eagerly anticipate the lead buffoon.

From Patrick to Dee Dee to Cosmo the fairy
the ensuing silliness makes me quite merry.

So, here's to all the sweet, colorful twits
that send me off to joyful, endless laughing fits....

Premium Member Who Can Fault That?
Casual lion lounges in his 70’s jacket
It is made of velvet, not velveteen
Softer than his mane if you can believe it
We wait for his words of wisdom
He is the king of beasts and of the forest

The waiting goes on for a long time
He has relinquished his rights to hyena
The animal who thinks everything is funny
Who can fault that? Asks the zebra.
More evidence that…
buffoons and clowns always run for office....

Liars!
You are people who kids really admire.
But you're nothing but a bunch of liars.
It's wrong to lie but it's even worse to lie to kids.
I can't believe what you did.
You told kids that it took one hundred people almost a year to make one of your
thirty minute cartoons.
You insult people's intelligence and you think we're buffoons.
You may have fooled children but you haven't fooled me.
Your lie will catch up to you eventually....

Wishes, Champagne and Happiness
Hands holding champagne
Allowing all wishes to sparkle
People dancing under Mylar balloons
Pop corn with sweet caramel
Yankees caps with silver trim
Nobody dislikes silly buffoons
Everyone can be one of them
With the New Year's party colorful hats
Yell and be extravagantly festive
Ears deafened by loud music
America celebrates in Times Square
Rome calls for peace everywhere

I do not want a bunch of crying or sadness Grandma said.
Release a bunch of balloons and sing upbeat songs when I am dead.
We grandchildren all heard her say it a million times.
She sang it and wrote poetry about it and put it in rhymes.

I do not want a headstone, they are creepy she told us.
You can remember me other ways, but don’t make a fuss.
Play Puff the Magic Dragon. Don’t become grouchy grief buffoons.
So today we said good bye to grandma, releasing her balloons....
