One lovely ballerina
                                            The bombings slammed
                                                No more dancing

Pray For Paris
I’m all shocked and confused
after watching the news
hostages, bombings and shoot-
ings, this is really too much
I can’t do much
so my mission
is to pray for all the victims
their families and the millions
of French people all over the world...

'Peaceful Protests Intensified' --

  So the morrow's headlines certified
But how'd reporters turn blind eyes
  To fire-bombings that terrorized
  a downtown stunned and traumatized
  Why was ugly violence euphemized
    ~ as 'Peaceful Protests Intensified'...

Fireworks
Red, yellow, blue.
The fireworks in the sky
Go crackle boom-
And mother-
Like a child,
Scurries
To her room-
For the sounds
Remind her of
Shootings in Beirut
Bombings in Batroun
Other mothers sobbing over their
Children’s tombs
The fireworks in the sky
Go crackle boom-
And the city celebrates
As my mother’s
Cold heart
(Iced with fiery war-)
Thaws with gloom....

hate knows no limits
Boston or Beirut Bombings
innocent ones die

in Paris or Pakistan
atrocities unlabeled
innocent ones die

Baghdad or Berlin
Lives should have the same value
innocent ones die

innocent ones die
religion or politics~~~
extremism kills

Terrorism reigns
the world is no longer safe
innocent ones die

say a prayer for all
terror plays no favorites
innocent ones die

Premium Member Lady In Black
'Round & round the block she goes
Whose house she stops nobody knows

Curtains are drawn lest darkness appear
Clip-clop the lady in dark we all fear

Neighbors are heard, sobs distant muffle
Drones in the sky cause quite a kerfuffle

What evil minds invent such horror?
I pray Mother Mary help us! I implore

"Cease-fire for one-day" he exhorts with mirth
"Bombings will resume" just after His Birth

Pray
Pray for the widows with dead roses in their hands.
Pray for the refugees; no blankets in the sands.
Pray for the dictator that dares to seize our land.
Pray for the missionary as she helps with heaps of grace.
Doctors without borders offering remedies at fast pace.
Pray for the children separated from their mums.
While their lives are at mercy mislaid with miseries of distress.
Pray to the God all mighty to fix this awful mess.
Bodies left dead from bombings never laid to rest....
