Blush of Love

a rose softly blooms
petals blush with sweet whispers
hearts in union beat
beneath the moon’s tender glow
love’s promise lingers ever

our heart
murmurs

listen
to it

soul speaks
softly

gentle
each touch

heighten
focus

that love
agape

sparkles
within

Life is a dream, rest in playful jest,
befriend silence, give soul some room,
to be by God’s grace blest, lest
mind-womb becomes our tomb.

He blessed me with a silent blush and threw the stars my way. As darkness fled through the mist, He became the light of day.

slow, slower and slower yet still we be
a butterfly floating in the air carefree
the ripples that arise
we behold in surprise
embracing and releasing on a bended knee

Premium Member Hush the blush

To state the truth stark,
heart’s insentient to love,
so my soul lives in the dark.

No matter my love,
relinquishing thought flow crutch,
feel God’s grace within by touch.

Premium Member Dawn Dusk Blush

Listen to poem:
At dawn sky glows fiery red;
    at dusk embers re-ignite.
Red in morning is a warning;
red at sunset a curtain call.
Does the sky blush to reveal
what we have done to our Planet?

Limericks Don’t Blush

A limerick is meant to be bawdy
not cater to those a bit haughty
ruffling feathers
exposing pleasures
cuz limericks are out and out naughty

Watch fancy feel
A touch that heals

Here in this place
A certain grace

Joy mellows well
That vivid tell

In a swift rush
That vital blush

 hot blush warms stunned petals

torrid sweetness of dews kiss

a divine sight once beheld
was by memory recalled
by our ego thus seeking
the influx of grace was stalled

why wallow in the shallows
when the ocean calls to soul
be still oh worthy hermit
that God’s touch may make us whole

Premium Member Lady In the Blush Pink Rose Hat

Watch out for the lady in the blush pink rose hat I was warned.
But had no idea why, for the lady was lovely and sweet.
It is a truly authentic hat, so giant bumblebees swarmed.
I was flat out running for my life now; there was a lot of heat!

Blush

Blush check
you can see it on my face
 embarrassed, red-necked,
 displaced;

take it back and trim
 the love you erased,
 my open disgrace in,
 the kiss you placed.

No adjectives, Jack Webster's workshop,
just blushing fact.

Butterflies of every hue
   Each and every flower too
 All the birds flying by
   Every diamond in the sky

When the weary sun doth sigh
With amber blush it paints the sky
To set the stage for luna's rise
All are beautiful to the eyes

meditating with a purpose
in as seeking an outcome
signals we are in delusion
best we pause the cause
and simply sit in silence
allowing the universe
to be the transmitter
while we simply receive
the offerings as may be
as is wont of a receptor
