BLINDLY GROPING, NEVER SEEING
STUPIDLY THINKING DEATH IS FREEING

Fumbling blindly in the dark
Grumbling finally hit the mark
Tumbling until morning light
Mumbling what a wondrous night
Don't blindly follow
you are a true patriot
with a peace sign.
Refuse to carry
weapons that kill a spirit.
Do not shoot at trees.

Forward without
Any discernment,
Caution or fear;

order it to bite enemy, it obeys
ask it to eat master, it acts
tell it to rest, it goes to bed
knowing duty always calls

All of life's burdens so heavy they lay
