Pappy dove through firestorms and hazards, blindly!
Burning both hands, losing a patch of skin and
Hopeful, Helpful, Rescuing, did it kindly
Saving poor Henry!

This is what Pappys do! Wow! So profoundly perfect. Tribute to the kind of dad we all wanted, and some of us were lucky enough to have. I was in a car that caught on fire once with my dad and my Uncle and they were throwing kids out almost before they got out of their front seats. We hit the ditches so fast, we did not realize what was happening.

Yes, and it is exactly what my father would have done! Praise God for your dad and uncle! I am reminded by your comment, of the famous millionaire, whose name I can't remember, on the Lusitania, who spent his last minutes putting lifejackets on children and shouting, 'Save all the kiddies you can!' Thank God for good Fathers (and Uncles)!
