Leading Blindly

The difference you made in one’s life may seem trivial at times. Never look back on your life
with regret; the impact you made one will never forget.

How things in life feel so wasted on what need not be
Steps we retrace can never be placed in spots exactly
Not everything straightens just like we want it to be
If taking more than giving any life will become empty

A Gift

It's a gift
This life we live
It's a prize
The pain and all
Did you think that
      Maybe
Life is teaching you
The strength you need
For life itself
Sit, listen to the rain
Chat with the mighty wind
You'll hear them say
Live out today

The Secret Life of Nothing Special

Life goes on like normal
No excitement
No true joy

The one you love stays right beside you
Gone
The spark that once brought passion

Yet you walk each day alive
Daily motions
Nothing special

Can you live this life of nothing?
Routine somber
Path of boredom

The secret life of nothing special
Welcome travelers
This is living

My Prayer

Make my life a phylactery, my God for thee.
To know You as I am known
I want to see Jesus,
Hear his compassion,
Reach out with his hands and
touch the lost children.

Forever changed, eternal life
Hope to overcome life's upside downs
Out of Egypt our savior came
Bringing peace, hope, love and life through remission of sins.

Keep away Dog Dirt Doris!

Here I Am

Here I am by your side. A friend and enemy. not telling you a lie but not quite honest either.
Here I am on the stairs by your side again. Your parents fight and you quiver at the sight but
I am here do not fear.
I am here in your life we would not be without eachother and together we are one.
Together we make up the universe and are not such a simple life form as they precieved us
to be

Hour after hour time passes us by,
Life as it is never stops but goes on,
So live your life the best you can
And do well before your life is gone

You can do anything you want
Climb the ladder of success right to the sky
Take a deep look and turn your life around
Because God loves you and wants you to be free!

A Fragrant Domain

When in pain,
It seems our life is only pain
And it is hard to see a place
With no pain.
Don't feed a pain
By looking at all the other pains
That in your life you can locate
Find the sane.
Find the cane to stand up again
Let your eyes rest upon flowery terrain
A happy place.
If it rains
Think of it as God's cleaning day
Smell the fresh smell of it and regain
A fragrant domain.

Innocence

innocence
that inherent quality that shines forth for all to perceive -
innocence that begs of nievety
uncracked by the jagged edges of a life well used (or not)

innocence
a way of being that somehow I aspire to
innocence in the face of the all knowing
give me the simple life (it's easier)

innocence
endearing to those who are aware of this quality perhaps
innocence
usually found in infants and children
can also be found
where you find it.

Puzzles

I know that you think
I am on the brink of success,
and dont neccessarily need you.
But what you think, and what i think are total opposites.
You are the missing link in my life right now.
I am not saying I want to be with you forever.
I am saying for right now you are that peice of the puzzle that I need.
My theory is that life is not one big puzzle, but multiple puzzles.
Each puzzle represents a different chapter in our life.
This chapter, you're the peice i need.
