there is almost always strings attached.

You brought up a good point... the reasons WHY we expect something in return, from a logical point of view, makes sense. But depending on where our hearts are at we won't be so concerned about the trade off.

Can't believe you have never read 'If', this was the first grown up poem I was made to learn and recite.
