A man went a-wooing a lassie
ill at ease with a great biggie
his face all blushing
and him stuttering
she thought him to be quite wacky...

Premium Member Fixing Art
Framed art
On the wall
I see a mistake
Take it down and redo it
Glad I am a painter

Feel sorry for non-painters today
Fixing art is no biggie for me.
Wouldn’t she look better in a red dress?
I take the next piece of art down
And run with it to my studio...

Premium Member my angry teeth
When I was a child I ate icicles
I broke some teeth.
No biggie.

When I was young I ate peanut brittle.
I ate ribbon candy.
I ate hard rock candy.

I thought I would have teeth forever.
I have a few left.
They are jagged and angry.

I don’t blame them....

Dirge For a Dark Day
The man
with the scythe
is having his way
with your day.
You think it's no 'biggie'?
It's like the coins
in your Piggy-
you counted eleven,
he calls it seven,
says he's the brethren
who delivers you
to heaven. His is
the power that
monitors your
hour....

Bogg the Steely Bug
Bogg the steely bug took a smart drug
Played silly buggers in Biggie’s rug
                                     Biggie screeched like owl
                                       Hey,No fare, no fowl
Big Bogg made Biggie a real humbug...

Piecemeal, a Coronavirus Poem
Piecemeal, a Coronavirus poem
by Michael R. Burch

And so it begins—the ending.
The narrowing veins, the soft tissues rending.
Your final solution is pending.
(A pale Piggy-Wiggy
will discount your death as no biggie.)

Resting our legs
some reading books
others enjoying the view

I held onto my guy
one of the readers
women were gossiping to my left

best friend was to my right
surrounded by every kind of car
men-boys were comparing them

fireworks had not yet started
no biggie to me
I had who I wanted...

Out of the Mouths of Babes
(In Memory Of the late Christopher Wallace aka Biggie Smalls)

About My leaving here, it was all a
dream
A living nightmare, or, so it would
seem
With Me coming to falter on the
balancing beam
After coaxing on Stardom, gently
down the stream
Just cause Somebody felt a need to
blow off steamd
But, like I said, it was just All a dream
That is, until I heard My dear Mother
scream
(RIP Biggie Smalls)...

Diddy Had It Done To Him Like Epstein Did As Well
Diddy said he didn’t do what many say he did
but Diddy’s only famous for he knows the talented
if Biggie wasn’t shot Diddy would not have had a hit
but Diddy put the hit on Biggie that is why he did

Though he had the power he never had the skill
paying all that money for somebody else to kill
the competition that went missing when the spot was failed
by Bad Boy Records never special Diddy died a jailed...

Premium Member Different States In Different States
Snow flurries will be here Friday.
Forty-seven degree high today.
Midwest United States – Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri,
No biggie. We have all seen worse.

Snow blizzard on Saturday,
Coming in from the East.
North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia are shaking.
No snow shovels, or plows or drains in those states.

Florida is hiding their alligators, so they will not freeze.
Different states in different states....

Premium Member Biggie Bug Loves Herself Well
I am so pretty, it is crazy, Biggie Bug thought.
Feeling sure she would be wildly wooed, hunted and sought.
Her pink was gorgeous, her purple and lavender divine.
Self-promoted and puffed, she felt supremely sublime.

Flaunted her beauty in everyone’s interested face.
She is beautiful, they agreed, but has so little grace.
She could not keep a job, she was such a distraction.
Finally joined the circus, was flea ring’s star attraction....

Peep Game
What’s Your Name, What’s Your Sign?"
I thought that was just a Biggie line.
Then I learned me and Dogs don’t relate
That’s for all you '82s and '94s, check the date.

Big heart thats no biggie
peep game
my words also carry weight,
I speak with purpose never fake.
A man of many skills, no doubt,
But cooking? Nah I’d rather eat out

Speaking of cats.
Not a fan,
Toss the litter, let it go,
Watch your spirit lift and your whole face glow....

Premium Member Newest Addition

The newest addition to my family
My bro-in-law christened him Milo
Another named him Jimmy
He’s more like a Chuckie
to me—driving me loco
The greenest eyes
He’s pretty lucky
He loves pink salmon
and playing catch
with crumpled paper I toss,
the unwanted poems I scratch
Biggie (aka) needs weight loss
I tumbled as I stepped over him,
A simple little thing
By eliminating gravy ‘til he gets slim
Pet adopting
It’s what the New Year will bring

Premium Member On a Little Roll
I am on a little roll this morning
My ankles are wet, and I was chased by a dog
No biggie

The interstate was backed up
Two fire trucks and a rescue vehicle passed me
It was a small tsunami

I have to go to the bathroom but there is no time
I distract myself by paying attention to the twenty-six children
Who are staring at me, expecting something wonderful to happen

They have great expectations.
They are the kindergarteners
I do not want to disappoint...

Premium Member I Lost My Patience
She lied to me twice this week. No biggie. I still trusted her.
She borrowed my car and wrecked it. Her tale was untrue.
Our friendship is at stake here. I will give her another chance.
If Job can do it I can do it. Right?

She got up in my face and screamed at me for no reason.
I am starting to think maybe there is something wrong.
We have been friends for thirty-two years. I forgive her.
She gets into my child’s face and screams.
That is the last time I plan to ever see her again....
