Different States In Different States

Snow flurries will be here Friday.
Forty-seven degree high today.
Midwest United States – Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri,
No biggie. We have all seen worse.

Snow blizzard on Saturday,
Coming in from the East.
North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia are shaking.
No snow shovels, or plows or drains in those states.

Florida is hiding their alligators, so they will not freeze.
Different states in different states.

Where I live there are a lot of Northerners who've moved south thinking that they won't have all of that snow to dig out from under. Then we get 12" of snow or 5" of solid ice or even half of the city's trees are broken off from the weight of the ice and snow. Then they complain, "I moved here because I was tired of digging out. You never know what the weather will do. Great poem. .

We are up and down- it is like our weather is a manic depressive.

I like the way you worded this one. So true NO shovels in Georgia. Last year I had to depend on a neighbor's homemade shovel...really it looked like a picket sign, to shovel my way out of a mountain of snow. Of course my husband was in Spain and I had to make it to my granddaughter's 16th birthday. The NAME of the Game, right?!

We lived in California for a short time, and when it sprinkled a tiny bit of rain, downtown LA closed up and sent their employees home.

Exactly right, and sometimes different strokes for the same folks at different times.
