Holy Yolks
A chicken farmer belittled native folks.
He said their beliefs were akin to jokes.
The natives put a curse on him
He laughed and called it a whim.
Until his chickens had eggs minus yolks....

Humility
I shared a bench with Arrogance
He boasted all the while
Till I was left belittled
And told that I should smile

I sat beside Humility
He hardly spoke a word
And though I still felt little
I smiled at what I heard....

Premium Member what is that smell
I climbed up to a limb and sat under a pretty purple owl.
“What is that smell?” He asked his wife. “Smells kind of foul.”
I had never been ostracized or belittled by an owl before.
I decided to jump down and run off with my dog, Seymour....

Born On the 13th
Born on the 13th –
must be fortunate –
of May, she`s not scared
and ever stays playful.

She grasps firmly springs
and jumps cause of mercy
into the gist of humble,
the very observation.

Belittled the devilry,
touched by the fortune
she's glad that a man
fathomed her dreams....

Valiant He Man
He is a selfless King
To his golden castle
Sacrificed everything
For his generosity he was belittled
To rule his kingdom
Of loyal Brethren and kin
And protect this freedom
For the eternal love of his Queen

Red Agony
You make me feel like i am nothing.
You make me feel belittled, worthless.
You make me feel like i need to slice my skin in half to feel something.
Hey bunny hey bunny.
I wanna scratch my eyes out with nails.
Take a knife to my throat and slash it on the stairs.
you make me feel the need to hurt myself
over and over again....
Here i go....

Premium Member Belittled Bedraggled
Listen to poem:
Constant denigration
wears you down
you feel so small
as your efforts are
downgraded with cast-off scoffs.
Your pearls bedraggled,
lack lustre,
displayed dimmed and dulled,
squelched by doubt,
smeared in fear.
Duet performance discordant
sung in disharmony
with lead player out of tune,
tone-deaf.
Belittled, you be,
and bedraggled becomes you....

The Church
The truth will be revealed to us today
How we belittled the foundation of faith
Even as we put names to denominations

Church of god in living being not building
House of god are we the chosen people
United in faith by the gift of the holy spirit
Redeemed by his blood and his sacrifice
Christ showed us how to be Christians
His Church is stronger than the church...

Been a little
Seen a little
Dreamed a little
Cradled a little
Cried a little
Loved a little
Lost a little
Been bitten a little
Bought a little
Sold very little
Been happy a little
Been sad a little

Joy a little
Been belittled

But rarely of late
Say
Little meaningful
Or
Nothing little

Consequential at all

When little matters
Most of all

Bees on beach, lost,
squirm in the waves
upside down, and trapped.

Antenna and eyes haywire meant
precious load of nectar and pollen
lost to hive as bees fell from sky.

Less beds of flowers, crops of grain
will be fertilized today
by bees dusted all over with pollen.

Buzzy busy bees behemoth benefits
lie belittled, mere specks on beach,
belies the butterfly effect of wrecked downed mobees....

Premium Member woman attempts to control her daughter
If you are disobedient, I will disinherit you.
This was said in a mean way with a snotty face.
the young woman felt sorry for her mother.
her mother's attempts to control her belittled her.
I love you Mom, she told her, but not your ways.
She resolved to never raise her children like her mother.
She raised them far away, and they had no contact with the woman.
No idea that their mother had a mother....

Unheard Child
I am a screaming child
crying for vengeance
whispering my agony…
Do you hear me?
Are you listening?
Am I but a toy-
to be tossed aside as trash?!

I am, but many.
We are lost, desperate, pleading, and abused.
Many we are, but still alone.
We are scattered and confused.
We are belittled and used.
Do you hear us?
Are you listening?

I am a wandering child-
searching, hoping, and still—
Nothing!!!...

Written In the Skies
Cock crows, the sunrise upon my face
As the wind shelters hillside
Woke up with a warm embrace
Of you by my side, much love inside

The love abounds, never belittled
The smiles shake the earth I stand on
Your voice from afar, nearer it settled
Like your lips on my

Can’t sketch the feeling_happiness
Your name craved on this heart
of imaginable and greatness
Will not stop loving you_infinit art....

Time Speaks the Truth Better
Time speak the truth better
Just say it as it is
You might not be listened to
You may not get that attention
Needed
But stay on the truth
Do not change it cos
Time will justify you

Time speak the truth better
I see hero being doubted
Being ignored
Being criticised
Overlooked at
And belittled
Yet they become
A hero with time
Cos I tell you again
Nothing but only
Time speaks the truth better...

I Am But I
I am but I,
Not perfect,
Nor do I seek to be,
Those that once clouded my mind,
Gone.

Lessons learned,
Never to be repeated,
Often judged by the way I look, dress, walk, talk,
Belittled, embittered,
Lost

Feelings that once hurt,
Turned,
Now forgotten,
Time moves on,
Panic, anxiety laden nightmares, fear of sleeping,
Conquered

I do not judge,
I do not mock,
I am kind,
I do my best,
I am but I...

My Shortest Story Ever
There was a tall strongman called Tony; he lived in
the tallest storey building, in a lulu town known as
Lorry Town. He always spat down at people and
coltishly belittled the skies, because; the sky almost
shook hands with his tall storey building. One day,
his storey building got bleeding tired of his
arrogant pomposity and crushed him down while
asleep, to slave for those whom he took as pigs
and pits.

The end...
