I'M Lovin' It - Tm
She hums "Hmm" on my hymn, "I'm lovin' you"
And runs to crawl in a Delmonte queue
Demanding, "Better befit".
Then cackling, "I'm lovin' it,"
Gulps my lovely gal there … Delmonte brew.

Oldage
Our car, among the classics
Our things, became antique
We, turned into relics
And our friends, befit a clique
Our cottage, now the hermitage
Our home, is a relique
Our life, will be a heritage
And when we talk, it’s a critique
What we do, has grown archaic
Our habits, turned oblique
Our thinking, esoteric
But now, we are unique

Amina
You blend the colours
Mix then match
Converting our sorrows
Painting the plain
Mending fabrics
Of fragile minds
Soothing them with tender stitches
To befit the grieving souls
We sang you a tune
setting you in a calming stillness
As you blend thunder
With peculiar lightening
Striking a volcanic boulder
Unraveling a blunder
within a thickened tangle
That has spread its webs of despair
wedging Freedom Street...

Summer
It is summer,a summer in autumn
This must be true,this must be true;
Those flowers are never late to blossom,
Because of the day I found you.
But does my love befit your grace
When your heart is far away and unfree?
And can our fear see the better days
When we are comfortable with misery?
It is summer,summer in autumn,
I've found this to be true,
If God is giving you a sea to fathom,
Would you? Could you?
03-17-12
some velvet briars...

I do not know?
The Horrid Skull
Beneath the shallow sea,
something rests on the wet
sands, waiting to be discovered
Yes, yes, a horrid skull it is,
with its jaws wide open,
revealing fangs that can only befit
a vampire
Questions haunt my conscience
of whether it's a pirate vampire
or a mermaid vampire.......
Lonely the skull rests on the sea floor,
waiting to open a creepy door
that might frighten the mermaids and fish away

Death
Come to me sweetheart
pale and wane befit your name,
yes I named you
and not just that ordinary noun.
Come not sweeping grimly
but dressed for a wedding.
I call you my 'nightingale'
my little bird of sorrow and joy.
I watch you fly in the dark and light
bewitched by time and place
life beginning on the tips of each wing.
Come to me sweetheart,
let your dress fall over my eyes,
I shall be in you then
as your lover forever,
together we shall light the lamps....
