Baseball Limerick

A big baseball player on pitch
Developed a strange kind of itch:
The ball flew up straight
Then down on his pate,
So he blamed the whole thing on a witch!

The Disappointed Baseball Player

Not all my hits are home runs,
many of them miss the bat;
specators respond with boos...
right there I expect to lose,
and getting angry, I toss my cap.

Tears cannot even
Come close
to how I revealed
my Secret Weapon.

And its not
Like I tried

I failed.

With robot
arms I tried
to assimilate
being a Baseball Player.

Pete

There once was a baseball player named Pete.
Who was the most famous man of one feat
In swinging at bad balls
he drew many cat call.
For in striking out he'd often repeat.

Career Dreams

I always wanted to be a baseball player for the New York Mets
But I never wanted to try my best so I just looked like a hopeless stem
One day I'll show them all
I'ma be the only one standing tall
As for the dreams that can be obtained right now, I'm going full force at them.

Premium Member Sports Retarded

I am so retarded in the area of sports. Sometimes it really does get me down.
It's so embarrassing not to know anything at all
about how to play ball,
and please don't think of me as a clown
but,
What excactly does a baseball player have to do
in order to
score themselves a touchdown?

Pleasant gentlemen both, broad shouldered and tall
Good sports who respect the umpire's call
Playing the game with pride and joy
Sincerely humble, never coy

Premium Member Dale Murphy

What a great baseball player was Dale Murphy. Here was a man endowed with natural ability. He made so many fellow players green with envy. Swinging a bat, he could hit the ball a mile. Dale exhibited fielding prowess all the while. What an impressive career he has to show. Dale was Most Valuable Player two years in a row. However, he has missed election to the Hall of Fame. To leave mighty Mr. Murphy out seems a shame.
