Ingenious phrases of praise
fall flat on our ears
The conscience pricks them ~
balloons of our fears
Sharp pointed arrows
dancing high on helium
linger in the air;
Red and pink heart shaped balloons,
how I wish I hated them.
Citrus balloons fly
Toward those stars of glitter,
As painted fireworks
Splat upon sheets of paper
Soaked in the darkest of inks.
Awash in a big sea of blood
Trump's Cash Cow was chewing its cud
Kim Jong-Un laughed,
"Don't be so daft!

Jellyfish At The Beach
Graceful pirouettes
Swirling among the waves.
Dancing months of r's,
Warriors with a sting.
Empty balloons on sand.
Balloons fill with helium, soar in the sky
What strange gases burst politicians’ bellies

Divorcing soon the tongue,the words,
